I am a very down to earth person who loves to have fun! I have a young spirit and young attitude! I love listening to live music, riding my Harley, skiing, hiking, biking, jetskiing, etc. I am a little tired of the bar scene so I thought I would try POF:)

Looking for: man. In age: 46-56
Im a very warm sincere woman looking for something I feel should be so simple. Where is a man that knows how to have fun and isnt so serious about life except the things you need to be serious about? Life has many changes and is so short that to find someone who enjoys the little things would be great. I am loving, sexy, sensual, dependable, inteligent ,witty, spontaneous, stable, and most of all honest! It would be great to find someone who can be serious when need be but for the most part can relax and have fun.I am very active love the outdoors and traveling. I decorate homes on the market for real estate companies and absolutley love it . Making a house feel like a home is my passion , well one of them.I love to cook and can make some bbq that will knock your socks off! Kicking back on the deck listening to some good music during the summer is one of my favorite things to do...they say the way to a mans heart is through his stomache...I can do that.Walks holding hands at dusk or hikes in the mountains. I have a large family and some great friends who I enjoy spending time with. Im a pretty simple very independent woman simply looking for a kind hearted man whom I can cheerish and respect and always let him know he is also someone special and never let him forget the man he is.Keeping the spark alive is what its all about.Romantic....yes absolutley!

Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 46-56
The Resume:My hobbies: home improvement, writing fiction, animals (dog lover, but without pets at the moment), reading, walking, going to movies, live theatre(my degree is in set design for film and TV), concerts and listening to music at home. New technology (it’s part of my job, but it can be fun), science, computers, my iPhone, Starbucks, dark chocolate (the good kind). My goals/aspirations: writing a book, researching my family history, travel-(I do like cats too, and horses) Finish some projects on my house and make it my sanctuary. Update: new floors are in the bedroom, I did some of it myself and all the painting. Not sure if I wouldn’t step on any toes, but I would like to try ballroom or couples dancing. What makes me unique: I'm sure my friends have their own opinions, but I am outgoing and confident and shy. I like being around friends and family, I am also comfortable being by myself. In my job I work with a lot of guys, techs and engineers and I am comfortable in that environment, but I also like the theatre, art, literature, I can use power tools and grew up with snakes and lizards. Music is very personal to me and taps into my emotional and fun loving side. Yeah for iTunes!!!Turn offs:Use of profanity when it isn't needed, Profiles without pictures, pictures taken in the mirror, pictures wearing only sunglasses (I have a thing for eyes) and lastly pictures that contain dead animals/fish. The Novel (in progress):Since being divorced I have decided not to settle on finding just someone, I want THE ONE. While I am a hopeless romantic, I am a realist and I understand relationships take effort. That doesn’t mean I can't write my own ending, I want someone who I can look at across a crowded room and smile knowing there is some amazing secret between us. Intimacy should start with the spoken word, an innocent touch and see where it leads from there. As I mentioned above, I work with a lot of guys, techs and engineers and I am comfortable in that environment, but I believe my salvation is my creative and intro-reflective side that has flourished over the last few years since the passing of my mother and the end of my marriage. I see the world in a completely new light and intend to make the most of this new found motivation. I can’t change my past, but I am in complete control of my destiny, conscious of the journey along the way. I would like to find someone who shares some of my interests, and even if there are some he is not avid about part taking in, he decides it makes him happy because I am happy. At the same time, I would like that special someone to expect the same of me. Letting someone 'in' to my life and I into theirs is hugely important and needs to be achieved without fear of judgment. This includes embracing each other's family as their own, socializing with mutual friends and being open to new ones. I like being around friends and family, but I'm not afraid to be alone. I am not opposed to a man who will open doors for me or who will offer their hand when I get out of a car (in fact I like that a lot), but I can take care of myself, I am far from helpless. But that doesn't mean I don't need a strong shoulder to cry on occasionally. I don’t consider myself a dare-devil or sports junky, but I don’t keep myself locked indoors all the time either. (Unless I’m writing then I can’t help it). I do know enough about sports to follow along and have ventured out to see a hockey or baseball game. You move a little more, there’s a bounce in your step and a smile on your face. Music becomes the sound track to the life you want to lead. It can reveal a few secrets without saying anything. (Are you mysterious, fun, multi-dimensional, flirty, romantic, sensual, vulnerable, a closet rock star, assertive, poetic, young at heart, emotionally available, rebellious, all of the above.) If you can relate to any or all these concepts then introduce yourself. I know the difference between a flat head and Philips screw driver, I’ve cut more than a few sheets of dry wall, have power tools of my own and don’t check the mirror every five minutes to see if I need lipstick. I’ll let you decide, I know who I am and *the one* needs to know who they are while being open to change, because everything changes. ~~~~~"One person can make a difference, and everyone should try." - JFK.'“Whatever you do (in life) will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.” Mahatma Gandhi First Date What would I like to do on my first date: It would probably depend on what transpired leading up to the first date. I think the best activity would be something fun with the opportunity to get to know my first date better, some place that also allow us the opportunity to talk, ask questions and listen to what each other may have to say. And please have a picture on your profile, my main profile picture is current ***.
