Don't judge a book by it's cover! I am an ex New Yorker, ex stay at home Mom and an ex married prerson. So I guess that makes me a Single Working Mom in CT. I was a stay at home mom for 12 years, raising 3 funny, smart and beautiful boys. Somehow I managed to get my Masters Degree and a divorce all at the same time. I have learned to be proud of myself and hope my boys will look back on their childhoods and see a devoted, strong and smart woman as there Mom. (and that they don't put me in a nursing home). Ive already done the "right out of marriage sowing of the oats" thing and it was fun. I have even dabbled in some "relationships" but to date no real sparks have flown. I'm not sure that i could have predicted where i am today but Im fairly certain that all roads will point me to where I belong. I am looking for a man that will bring out the best in me and I hope to return the favor. Im not expecting a best friend, I have a best friend and she is great, i want a strong man who can let be me be and love me for it. i want to love my man for being himself. Maybe to be the bestest of allies. I probably won't watch hockey with you cause I can never see the puck and i find it kind of rough. i can certainly sit through a Giants game as my Father used me as a good luck charm for most of my childhood. (I had to sit on the couch and not leave the room, it was fun when it actually worked.) I wont insist that you watch "housewives" or take part in all of my ridiculous activities. (unless you want to.) im low maintenance, not too materialistic, Im an average cook, and keep a clean and warm home, Im smart and I have opinions but I also have class and a good upbringing. I love my work and I try to be a good honest and kind person. i love music, all kinds.. i gotta be me but ill do my best.
