Here’s a story… of a lovely lady… I strive to live somewhat fearlessly and to not merely see life in black-and-white. I see the many grey areas around us and try, try, try to make sense of this wonderfully weird, wacky world. Among my activities are bits of hiking, exploring open spaces (especially the one between thy ears), and using my senses (not the one referred to as "common") optimally – like smelling freshly brewed coffee, flowers and freshly cut grass; feeling the warmness of a loving hug, the sun on a beautiful summer day, and sand between my toes; and tasting bubbly champagne, new recipes, and ice cream. Interests include travelling and experiencing new adventures, sharing and listening, reading, challenges that *** spark of conversation, movies, children and the vulnerable - the least, the last and the lost. I'm adaptable, honest, transparent, and enjoy times in the (not too) rugged outdoors as much as I do the comforts of my haven. And I'm not into fighting, sulking, cheating, clothing accounts, clubbing, shopping malls or artificial nails. I love moments that offer beauty in art, people, nature, words and actions. Huge trees, fireplaces, the moon, stars, bonfires, thunder storms, butterflies and flowers. Exotic places and their people all fascinate me with their mystique and the many stories they carry. If only they could tell! I believe passion is probably one of the most important dimensions of the human composition – without that we are left without those dreams and aspirations that keep us going.It would be nice if you have a head with eyes and a mouth and ears attached to it. Throw in humor and the ability to change my tire - well not mine, the car's - and you're halfway there already... Someone normal, respectful, stable, transparent and consistent in thinking and behavior. Someone who has a curiosity about the world and a joyful passion for life, one who shows humor and integrity. There are so many options - coffee, drinks and a friendly yet competitive round of miniature golf, darts, or pool. Ok, I am really not that great at pool, but still have fun.

    Happy to be home again... I have two grown kids, and a one year old grandson here. I have been divorced since ***, and ready for a relationship after a good and healthy period of singleness to figure some things out. I'm active and hit the gym a few times a week.     What was it that Whitesnake said...."Here I go again on my own ;)" (There's an 80's reference in case you didn't catch it ***of my favorite songs from that era) So here's me in a nutshell. I'm a nut! ha ha. I have old fashioned values while living a modern lifestyle. I'm independent and have been for awhile, I work full time, own my own home and car and take care of my bills, but I love a man stepping up and being a man. Is it too much to ask for a man to be a gentleman anymore. Would love to see if there are any left out there. This is your challenge, should you choose to accept it. Take me dancing and you found a weakness of mine, skiing is right around the corner (I already have a pass, just need someone to go with) and who doesn't love snuggling up on the couch with a movie and some kettle corn popcorn with peanut M & Ms poured right in. Love going with my 86 yr old neighbor to play poker. I love going to Thrift Shops (yep..with $20 in my pocket) and see what I can find. I do try to have fun no matter what I'm doing really.I think some of you are taking this "Online" dating too seriously. Do any of you actually want to go outside and have an "In Person" Date. ha ha.. I'm pretty set on messaging, texting, meeting. If all I wanted was to chat on the computer or texting, I'd join the prisoner pen-pal program. Let's meet.
