Well let's see...I'm definitely a "glass half full" kind of gal...it takes a lot to bring me down. I am a person who likes to be active. Tubing trips, camping, canoeing, concerts, road trips, and several other things. I am pretty diverse. I can go from a biker festival on a Friday night in a T shirt and jeans to a charity fundraiser in a dress and heels on Saturday to floating down the river on Sunday afternoon. And dont forget cheerleader mom in the bleachers at one of my kids' ball games. After all of the crazy fun in a day I like to unwind in the quiet with a good book, or even a movie once in a while.My best defense in stress is going for a long run or hitting the gym. I am happiest when making other people happy. I have become the go to person and that is great, but would like to know if there is someone out there who I can go to. Not when needed, because I realize I dont need anyone, but I know now that I want that someone special there. I always have fun with whatever I am doing. I can find the good in every day. I believe that life is too short not to have fun going through it. I live every day as if I am not sure how many more Ill have left.I have been divorced for 5 years and I am very happy with my life as it is now. Because I am happy with my life I know I am ready for someone who is just as happy with theirs.I have been described by others as genuine, unique, and simply not able to compare me to anyone. Ive taken these statements as good things. ;) People say those things about me because I am honest to a fault, but at the same time live by the phrase "If you cant say something nice then dont say anything at all". I wont lie, but dont like to hurt people's feelings either. I am always there when needed and support my friends and family with everything I have. I love my family and believe that friends are the family that you choose. I can only hope that I can meet someone with similar views on life who is also willing to include me in the things he is interested in and want to join in on the fun roller coaster of life that I live.Bad things happen to good people all the time. I know that , for me, there is always something to learn and take from those bad things. If we didnt have bad days then we wouldnt know how to appreciate the good ones. Went on yet another dateaster last night...one of the first things i tell someone is i am a bigger female...if you can't deal with it don't waste either of our time. This one didn't eve last an hour.
