... They have not spoken to each other in years. Their quarrel began over a woman they both love. Both were equally strong as well as equally handsome. Once and for all, they were determined to finish this dispute over who is the better man. The first brother’s argument was, “I know how old she is, I know how much she weighs, how tall she is, her hair color and eye color.” In which the second brother replies, “Oh, yeah, well I know her favorite restaurant, her favorite poetry line, her favorite work of art, her favorite book to read and what movie brings her to tears even though she has watched it 15 times.”… The first brother, determined to be right, countered with, “I know how educated she is, what her IQ score is and where she was born”. .. The second chimes back, somewhat raddled by now, “I know that she bites her nails when she is nervous, I know that she is truly balanced between strong but sensitive. I know she wrinkles her nose when she concentrates hard on something and that she falls asleep listening to music every night”. Fuming at this point, and determined, once again, to get the upper hand on the other brother, the first one replies, “yeah but with me, she gets very little sleep; for I know her needs and how to please her over and over and over again”. Second counters, “I know how perfectly my hand fits into the small of her back, I know her smell, I know the sweet taste of her lips”… By this time the whole bar has stopped to listen. Who will be the favorable brother? “I may not have all the money in the world,” said the second one, “But I will always be able to provide for her” as to which the first one says, “Oh yeah, well, I do have all the money in the world and she will never have to worry about being provided for as well as have all the things her heart desires”. …“well, let’s let her decide” while pointing to a woman standing alone at the other end of the bar.; she had been listening.“I have loved both of you, but one and only one decision has to be made…. and the brother whom I love the most is………”Which brother did the woman decide and why? Now, about me.....I'm an avid reader, lover of animals and think children are the most precious things in the world. The beach is my sanctuary and amusement parks are where I entertain my "inner child". Music is absolutely etched within my soul; If there is music, I'm there. I love classic cars, funny movies, stand-up comedy but, sorry guys, I'm not much of a sports fan (except live baseball, LOVE live baseball).I love to spend time with my partner but still know how to be comfortable alone. I have a big heart but I am not naive' enough to be a push over. I'm confident and speak my mind but I can do so with grace. I am just as comfortable in an old pair of jeans and flip flops as I am in an evening gown; I can fit into any environment....If I were to describe my "perfect" guy in 3 words, it would be.... intelligent, balanced, romantic....Best of luck, everyone!
