Hi. I am an adventuras, hard working, kind and empathetic woman. I was a VP or executive for over 15 years in marketing/sales, which I loved. I worked in real estate development, which gave me daily creative inspiration from the thousands of talented architects, graphic artists and photographers and many more "creative" and talented people.I discovered my own passion for design and love creating jewelry, "paintings" in Photoshop, and more. I am active, love cycling, hiking, swimming Used to go on 8 mile runs 4x a week until knee got hurt. Love quiet and peaceful times when I meditate, but love loud rock music - most music actually! I try to sing and I'm ok to quite good depending what I am singing. I find it makes me happy. So does B&J vanilla ice cream and anything chocolate.Children are special and I helped and still help family/friends anytime they need it but do not have a child. I care about the less fortunate in this world and do what I can to help. Chikd homelessness is a huge issue. Politics: I lean left and am not as pleased with the current admin. But think our Presidential has done a lot - more than most could, to get folks back working. Healthcare plan? It will take time to know but my belief is it will be a massive success both for those who need it and the providers and innovative new ventures who view opportunity that always accompanies a large public/private initiative.I currently am working on 2 projects that I envision will grow, slowly, but I'm passionate about my work vs making millions for others which I did for years with very little free time, except my travel.Love travel - and have hopes to see more of the world. Maybe with a friend I meet thru pof! Love my family. Well rounded, down to earth gal with bright eyes and mostly positive outlook. I don't have it all figured out but I do know money does not make you happy and the simple, day to day joys of life do bring contentment. Lastly, I follow the basic judeo christian philosophy and teachings of leaders like MLK, Ghandi others: forgive, shun anger, pray for and try to help less fortunate and live with a loving heart and I wake up with a smile most days. Summer is fast fading so I believe a first date should start with a plan to spend an hour but being the optimist also, if there appears to be a common attraction it could last days! Just kidding. My friend has a rule, one drink one hour and believed she wasn't as positive as she could be until I had a 4 hour 8 course meal with a nice guy who thought he'd met his world travel partner, or the day and evening with a neughbor that never ended. I like some sports like football and hockey and starting off watching the Blackhawks or a Bear's game is fun. Or a late afternoon meal or even coffee then a walk by the lake. Anything will be fun if we 'click' and I'm not high maintenance so fancy dinners are fun but I prefer something simple early on. Mannys for corned beef sandwich. Yum. Greektown for wine and cheese. Spoil me later :-)

A little about me: Independent, drama free, divorced with no children, and ready to find someone to enjoy my life with.I have a good career, good friends, my own house, and come from a loving family with just the right amount of dysfunction to make them funny and relatable. I work out ***times per week to stay in shape and love to be outdoors since I spend so much of my work life in an office. Around the house I like gardening, hire someone else to cut the lawn, and do my best to keep up with the joys of homeownership such as leaky faucets, loose hinges, and debunking spooky noises. While skydiving is not on my bucket list, I have gone zip lining and would love to try stand-up paddle boarding and maybe even windsurfing this summer. I'm also perfectly content with a glass of wine, a cozy fire, and a "friendly" (read: competitive, possibly violent) game of Pictionary, Scrabble, or Taboo. I have plenty of vacation days and would love to use them to explore somewhere new.I am definitely more of a morning person and would much rather hit the road at 6am on a Saturday for a day trip with my guy than stay out & party till 3am.I'd like to find someone who is funny, outgoing, intelligent, stable, and compassionate. A guy who will stop to help a stranger, is kind to animals, and who recognizes that the smallest of gestures can make a huge difference in someone else's day. What you do for a living or how much you earn is less important to me than how well you manage yourself and the kind of person you are. I want to be as mentally attracted to someone as I am physically. Experience with opening jars, killing bugs (or at least catching & releasing - I'd rather not kill them either) and lifting heavy things is also a plus :-)So if you're still reading this and would like to see if we have more in common, feel free to say hi. Otherwise, good luck in your search!
