I know she wrinkles her nose when she concentrates hard on something and that she falls asleep listening to music every night”. Fuming at this point, and determined, once again, to get the upper hand on the other brother, the first one replies, “yeah but with me, she gets very little sleep; for I know her needs and how to please her over and over and over again”. Second counters, “I know how perfectly my hand fits into the small of her back, I know her smell, I know the sweet taste of her lips”… By this time the whole bar has stopped to listen. Who will be the favorable brother? “I may not have all the money in the world,” said the second one, “But I will always be able to provide for her” as to which the first one says, “Oh yeah, well, I do have all the money in the world and she will never have to worry about being provided for as well as have all the things her heart desires”. …“well, let’s let her decide” while pointing to a woman standing alone at the other end of the bar.; she had been listening.“I have loved both of you, but one and only one decision has to be made…. and the brother whom I love the most is………”Which brother did the woman decide and why? Now, about me.....I'm an avid reader, lover of animals and think children are the most precious things in the world. The beach is my sanctuary and amusement parks are where I entertain my "inner child". Music is absolutely etched within my soul; If there is music, I'm there. I love classic cars, funny movies, stand-up comedy but, sorry guys, I'm not much of a sports fan (except live baseball, LOVE live baseball).I love to spend time with my partner but still know how to be comfortable alone. I have a big heart but I am not naive' enough to be a push over. I'm confident and speak my mind but I can do so with grace. I am a person who likes to be active. Tubing trips, camping, canoeing, concerts, road trips, and several other things. I am pretty diverse. I can go from a biker festival on a Friday night in a T shirt and jeans to a charity fundraiser in a dress and heels on Saturday to floating down the river on Sunday afternoon. And dont forget cheerleader mom in the bleachers at one of my kids' ball games. After all of the crazy fun in a day I like to unwind in the quiet with a good book, or even a movie once in a while.My best defense in stress is going for a long run or hitting the gym. I am happiest when making other people happy. I have become the go to person and that is great, but would like to know if there is someone out there who I can go to. Not when needed, because I realize I dont need anyone, but I know now that I want that someone special there. I always have fun with whatever I am doing. I can find the good in every day. I believe that life is too short not to have fun going through it. I live every day as if I am not sure how many more Ill have left.I have been divorced for 5 years and I am very happy with my life as it is now. Because I am happy with my life I know I am ready for someone who is just as happy with theirs.I have been described by others as genuine, unique, and simply not able to compare me to anyone. Ive taken these statements as good things. ;) People say those things about me because I am honest to a fault, but at the same time live by the phrase "If you cant say something nice then dont say anything at all". I wont lie, but dont like to hurt people's feelings either. I am always there when needed and support my friends and family with everything I have. I love my family and believe that friends are the family that you choose. I can only hope that I can meet someone with similar views on life who is also willing to include me in the things he is interested in and want to join in on the fun roller coaster of life that I live.Bad things happen to good people all the time. I know that , for me, there is always something to learn and take from those bad things. If we didnt have bad days then we wouldnt know how to appreciate the good ones.
