I'm a casual, smart, funny, sarcastic and wry girl who is part geek and part foodie.In terms of the big picture and what I'm searching for, I'd have to say that I'm looking for someone on the feminine side who I can have some adventures with, even if it's just in our own backyards (I don't personally own a backyard, but we can find one somewhere). You can be casual, but I'm not interested in girls who look like boys.I tend to be a homebody, but it's time that I got myself off of this couch and back out into the world. Maybe you can be that person who can show me that the outside world isn't so scary.I don't have a TV, so I watch a lot of Netflix on my computer...way too many to mention. I love to cook and eat and it gets boring doing that on my own because then I have to eat everything I've cooked. So, I'm looking for a partner in kitchen crime. You don't have to love to cook, just to eat and to help me clean up afterwards.I'm not really looking for friends (although, if you think we could be friends, send me a message), I'm primarily looking for a relationship. I usually respond to anyone who messages me because:a) I think it's rude not to after someone has been brave enough to make the first move.b) sometimes a picture and a couple of lines of text are not enough to get a sense of someone (although, sometimes, it's way more than enough) and I like to give you the chance to change my mind.c) I can't think of a third thing. But give it time and it'll come to me. While I respond to messages, in the interest of saving both of our time, I will be honest and tell you if I I don't feel a connection to you, please don't take this personally. I would hope that you would do the same for me. I'm an editor and writer by trade, so things like spelling, grammar and the ability to put a cohesive sentence together are important to me. I'm not really interested in spending weeks trading messages. If you're interested in me and I'm interested in you, why not just get together for coffee or a drink and have a good chat in person? An hour or two of your time has got to be worth it if you're going to spend those hours/weeks/months messaging me anyhow. Coffee seems mostly harmless. I'm open to other options as well, as long as it's in an environment conducive to holding a discussion.
