Am I the only one that is scared by a good percentage of the people on this site? Here's a bit of unsolicited advice....don't post pictures of yourselves that make it look like you are in a mug shot....for me personally...they scare me. Motto to live life by: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"Looking for someone who is real and true (please interpret that as HONEST, someone NOT fake)....don't want your drama and lies. Most people on here say that they are an honest person...but this site is very tongue in cheek - I don't trust a majority of what I see or read on here. Pretty much figure it's up to you to get me to trust you. And do me a favor - don't take that as a challenge. I'm not naive, but don't be on here looking for someone special just to****people around.I want someone I can talk to. Most importantly someone who I can laugh with, preferably everyday.A guy with an ego but has humility - someone who is confident but not conceited. Someone who likes kids, I have 1, a son, he's in (eeeeeeeek!!!!!!!) 8th grade. I'm not sure about having more kids. I say unsure, because I can't have more kids...willing to meet someone with kids. I raised my son on my own his entire life, I have no daddy-drama, and don't want your momma-drama. I like music, I have a few favorite TV shows, I love action adventure and romantic comedy movies(I cry during sad movies - double X chromosomes what can I say), I hate HATE ghory horror films but I do like suspense or "thrillers". Football fan here - I'm a NY Giants fan at heart, but will also root for the Jets (who says you can't have a favorite AFC and NFC team?). I'm a realistic optimist, I need someone equally as cheerful. I am spontaneous and am usually up for anything, I love surprises(giving and receiving). I'm affectionate and loyal. I want to believe in love at first sight, but I've never experienced it so I'm skeptical. I'm honest and blunt to a fault.I love a man with tattoos. I don't have any myself, and will probably remain that way until I'm 65. Don't ask why 65...it's just a number. If you don't have tattoos...that's cool too.I love the beach and the ocean but I won't swim in them, if I could get paid to travel I would(but I love upstate NY too). I'm close to my family, but not in that freaky unhealthy way-I value my familial relationships. I need someone who can stand with me, stand on his own, and let me stand on my own, all at the same time. I know it's a tall order. But, I'm worth it. Isn't love worth getting what you want? I'm not psycho, and would prefer someone who is also equally not a psycho. No working out for me, don't mind camping(it seems to be a big thing on this site, just remember running water and plumbing are just basic necessities you can't deny), no drugs, no BDSM (had to see if you were paying attention!). Well let's see, I'm adventurous, outgoing, open minded very friendly, kind, sensitive, and I've been told very laid back. I enjoy my life and love spending time with my family and friends; having a good laugh, having fun, being silly, being serious, or sometimes just be with someone and say nothing at all.... I'm a care free, fun, happy, let the current take you kind of girl. I am overweight, but that doesn't stop me from having a lot of fun. I laugh all the time. I have a slightly immature sense of humor. I coach Tennis and the mention of grabbing balls, smacking balls, etc. often times sends me into giggles. I embrace my immaturity. The guy I'm with, has to want to have fun. I'm not a homebody. I like to go out. I do enjoy a quiet evening at home, don't get me wrong, but I'm not someone who can spend every single night that way. I've recently become fond of karaoke. I'm a terrible singer though. I'm well aware of that fact. So, I want someone who won't be embarrassed by me. Someone who will cheer me on. I love photography. You'll rarely catch me without a camera. It was bigger than the two of us together. Oh the little things kids pick up on. I love my family. My nieces are quite important to me. Until I have kids, I treat them very much like they are my own children. Hopefully you will enjoy spoiling them as well. I have dogs, they run the house. They will be with me until they pass away, so if you aren't a dog fan...this will never work out. They're big, they're slobbery, and I love them dearly. I'm very tied to my job. I attend most of the high school sporting events as do most of my friends. That is a must. I love sports. I'm a Cubs fan, don't worry, I can take the jokes. I've heard them for 35 years. When it comes to pro football, I'm going to always root for the Bears. Now when it comes to pro basketball, I'm a Mavs fan. Not a fair weather one either, they've been my team for nearly 20 years. However, after Dirk Nowitzki joined them, my love grew deeper. The most important thing I need is someone who will care about me, enjoy my curves, and have a sense of humor about life and himself. If this sounds like you, we will have a great time. First date...should be something casual. Going out to a coffeehouse to chat is always a nice start. So much can be learned there. Then...if things are going great, move on to a movie or a bar for drinks.
