I am a single mom with two great kids. Working full-time doesn't give me a lot of time for myself but I have decided that I deserve to be happy. I love my job. It allows me to interact with people and do historical research at the same time. I recently just got promoted so life in a little more crazy. Add to that I decided to head back to get another Master's degree. I am not your stereotypical librarian, no hair in a bun or sensible shoes here. People can always tell when I am coming because I normally wear heels. I am tired of being surrounded by couples and feeling like the third wheel. I have a great group of friends but am missing that someone that treats me special. I am looking for someone who enjoys going out but is fine with staying home cooking dinner and enjoying a movie. There is nothing better than cuddling up on the couch with the arms of someone around you. In my spare time I love to read and spend time with my family. I come from a large family so many days don't go by before I see or talk to them. I love most types of music from classic rock to pop and even the tiniest bit of country. I normally have music playing somewhere in the background almost constantly. I am very liberal and open minded. When I am working, I command the room. If you can't handle a woman being strong, smart, independent, and opinionated but also loving and sensitive then I am not for you. I have been through a lot in my life and can stand on my own, I just would like to find a man that is willing to stand beside me. An ideal first date for me would be meeting somewhere for coffee like a bookstore and just being able to talk and see if we are compatible.
