Well...I have to say after a while of being single I have unfortunately run into so many people that make me GLAD to be single. Kind of sad, but it is what it is. Seems like the world is filled with shady, game playing type of people who have no respect for themselves much less others. I think at this point it will definitely take an amazing person to even tempt me to wanna date anytime soon. I won't give up hope though despite the frustration and will never settle for anything less than the person I KNOW I want to be with. Never settle in life and reach for what you want. As for what I would say about myself it would go more like this: I am a very smart woman, has common sense, humorous, incredible personality if given the chance to show it, honest, loyal, can have fun going out or staying in, has goals in life, happy person (can't stand people who are constantly being a downer), very worthwhile person, can be a great friend if nothing else. I'll stop with that as there really isn't a need to ramble on. Anything I said isn't to score points with anyone, but it just how I am. I have a lot more good qualities, but as with everyone we also have our bad sides too... You typically won't see that with me though. I have to say I'm not looking for a talking/email buddy lol. I am trying to see if there is anyone out there worth actually getting to know. So if you think that is what you are looking for whether it ends up as just friends or more, then I'd like to hear from you. But at the same time,you really cant get to know sumbody by watching a movie. Just depends what the guy wants to do. Hello. I always hate writing about myself, but I suppose here it's kind of necessary. I've been told I'm adorably awkward, a little odd and hilariously funny. Whether I live up to any of those, I have no idea. I know I'm artistically inclined; I like to draw, paint, sew, take photos and try my hand at any sort of craft or hobby available to me. I love learning people's stories. I'm a nurse, so I get to be there for all the most interesting parts of people's lives. Some good, some amazing, some really terrible, but all of them worth bearing witness to. I really love my job; I recently specialized in paediatrics. I honestly can't believe that people will pay me to play with tiny babies all day. It's pretty rewarding. Not to mention much easier on my body than any other nursing specialty. That's a little bit about me. Random adventures and weekend getaways always appeal to me (there are several on my bucket list, including learning to ride horses, sky diving, and anything that involves being in or on the water). I'm also a big fan of the quiet "get to know you" hangout, over a pint or a cup of coffee. I'm pretty easy going.I would like to find a relationship, if such a thing should come about. I guess it's not that complicated, really -- I'm just looking for an enlightened grown-up who is interested in a solid relationship along with a good time. Major integrity and genuine kindness are essential. Being a fairly timid woman, I like a first date that's got a certain amount of flexibility to it. So, drinks/coffee and walk are always a good choice. If the first meet and casual conversation strike a spark I am more than happy to plan something more exciting for date number two.
