I have a career, a vehicle, a home, goals, dreams, everything I need, and most everything I want. I would like to spend some of my free time with someone I enjoy being with, other than my girl friends.I love to laugh so a sense of humor is a must. I appreciate an intellectual, insightful conversation but I'm not a snob so it's not mandatory. I'm just as happy sitting on a tailgate looking up at the stars as I am dinning in a fine restaurant drinking a glass of wine. I'm also content to play video games or hit some balls at the batting cages. I enjoy everything that life has to offer me with equal enthusiasm which keeps me open to enjoying the time I spend with all different types of people. Being introduced to new music, new places, new things, and new activities is something that I get really excited about, maybe more excited than the average person. Lol I don't lie so I expect people to show me that same level of respect and keep it honest. I'm not looking for random hookups. I'm also not looking for a serious relationship.     Well, I thought I would give this online thing a try since I'm not finding a lot of extra time to "get out and meet people". A little about me... I'll start by saying that I've never been married or have any kids. I'm financially responsible - if I don't have the money to buy something, then i don't get it. I'm not materialistic at all. A couple of years ago, I bought my first house. It's nothing fancy, but I really like it. I have a job i absolutely love working for an exploration and production company. After work, I keep pretty busy with indoor soccer or other random hobbies. I'm usually on about 5 teams, each playing once a week. Another one of my passions is rescuing dogs. Since I was a child, I have loved animals, and always had a dog. I now have 3 of my own (all large breeds) and I usually have at least one foster dog with me too (sometimes more). I started volunteering for a rescue group after graduating college and haven't stopped since then. I also have recently gotten into sporting clays. If guns make you uncomfortable, then I'm not the one for you. Ive been shooting since i was a kid. I enjoy going to the range for target practice, but I'm finding I enjoy the clays a little more.Most of my close friends are married with children, so I don't really "go out" much, we usually just stay in and hang out. If I do go out, its usually to do some two-steppin and line dancing. My favorite types of music are country and christian, but I'll pretty much listen to anything. As far as movies go, I'm kind of like a kid... Its not very often I don't like a movie.As far as my personality goes, I'm very laid back and easy going. I am understanding, patient, and caring. I often tend to put others before myself. I believe honesty is very important in any relationship and because of that, I'm honest to a fault. I would rather know the truth than hear lies to spare my feelings. I have good morals and very high standards for myself. I think this is why I tend to be somewhat picky when it comes to who I date. I'm looking for someone who, just by being themself, makes me want to be a better person and someone I can do the same for. I am far from perfect, but I try to be the best version of myself and learn from my mistakes. I am looking for someone to grow in my faith with. I'm honestly not crazy about the typical dinner date. I'm not saying I wouldnt be up for it, but I would probably be more comfortable in doing something that we would both enjoy and have in common. For example, maybe meet up at a dog park or go for a walk at lake hefner. I guess what I'm trying to say is it would depend on the person as to what the best first date would be.
