About Me

Hello! I'm currently living in CT but my heart is with the ocean on Cape Cod where I grew up.A. in English then moved out to Western Mass to get my M.A. in Education and teacher licensure. I really loved living in that area and toss around the idea of moving back out there at some point. I liked the people there and the general easy- Half-way through my time at Umass life happened and I became a mother to a little boy who is now two. I finished my master's despite the pregnancy and moved to CT where my son's father lives. I am now waitressing here and applying for English teaching jobs, which hasn't panned out yet. I split custody with my son so I have him half the time and the other half of the time he is with his father, so I do have time to date but my son will always come first! Since I waitress at night I've sort of become a night owl and spend my quiet time after work reading as much as I can, drinking tea and working on art projects during my periods of inspiration. I may come off as serious at first but that's only because I'm a deep-thinker and can be introverted until I'm comfortable with a person. I'm actually pretty funny and have a witty/sarcastic way about me. I enjoy philisophical conversations/ good music/ live entertainment/ pursuit of knowledge/ spirituality. I love flowers and going out to a nice dinner, quiet nights at home, being comfy, etc. I'm looking for someone who is educated and ambitious, yet also who has the ability to relax and be silly once in awhile.
