I\'m a respectful person who knows how to treat a partner. I\'m a good listener and believe that communication makes for a better relationship. Search for reasonable people to make a good couple.

I am a single mom who has been out of the dating game for a few years and I'm hoping to ease back in. I tend to be a bit of a tomboy, but I also love dresses and high heels, and chivalry! I mostly listen to punk/rock/industrial music, and I think similar music tastes are a great sign of compatibility. My favorite music is Nine Inch Nails. When I meet someone I usually know right away if I am into them. If we meet and I like you, you'll know. I flirt a lot when I like someone. If you can't tell if I like you, the answer is probably no. I am very independent, cynical and opinionated, but I also know how to relax and have fun. I have an assertive personality, and prefer men who are also assertive. If you're not, I might steamroll right over you. It sometimes means clashing heads, but I don't like to fight, I will always try to discuss and compromise. I find intelligence very attractive. I value humility. I enjoy a good debate, and respect someone who can hold their own in such. I also value logic, critical thinking, and common sense. I like people who are able to hold up their end of a conversation, but also be comfortable with silence at times. Not a fan of people who talk a lot but have nothing to say. As a laborer I respect people who aren't afraid of a little hard work now and then. I know most guys here are not a fan of having to fill out these profiles, and I get that, but it is important to me that you be able to tell me about yourself. Pretty much every guy here describes themselves as outgoing, active, easygoing, etc. It's pretty generic and doesn't really tell a person much. Things I really don't like are chauvinism, conceit, obstinance, hot tempers, prejudice, irresponsibility, naivety, and immaturity. Coffee is a decent no-pressure first date. Or maybe something a little more active. It's nice to have something to do while we talk intead of just staring at each other. Mini golf, maybe, or pool?
