I am an independent, intelligent young woman who wants to find someone that is honest and trustworthy. I have been through a lot in the last several years, including a divorce due to a cheating husband; however, that has not only made me a stronger woman, but helped me to learn exactly what I want in my life. I don't need anyone, but am choosing to want to share my life with the right man. I work very hard and I am always up for challenges. I have been an elementary teacher for 11 years and I still love my job, most days anyway...haha! I am very athletic and have always had a competitive nature. I love theme parks and will close the park down going on every roller coaster possible! When I'm not working, I spend my time at the gym working out or running. Running and working out are my ways to de-stress. I love spending time with friends and family as much as I can. I want to find someone who is ready for a relationship and ready to give up the dating scene and make an honest committment. I do not have time for games in a relationship. I am definitely not a girl who will put up with unfaithfulness again. I love going to movies, bowling, and of course dinner. But, I also love staying in for a night on the couch of cuddling and watching tv. I am very active so anything outdoors is a perfect day for me. That can include running, beach volleyball, softball, mini-golf, or just walks on the beach. The beach is my all time favorite destination. :-) Most importantly, I have an awesome sense of humor, which includes much sarcasm, so I'm looking for someone that loves to laugh and doesn't get offended easily. I'm easy going and drama free. And I just got braces in July, so if you're uncomfortable with that....sorry for your loss. I didn't get them because I had to had them, but rather because I value perfection and always working hard to achieve your very best. I work for a software company doing *** training, and that takes me on the road quite a bit. I just bought my first house and when I'm not on the road, I've been keeping busy trying to update some things and get settled in. My dad raised me on Classic Rock, and I'm a big fan of going to concerts. I've had to miss a couple recently because I couldn't find anyone with the same taste in music to go with. I hope to change that soon! I also like watching football - really. I'm not just saying that to try to impress you. Hockey is fun to watch too - especially live. Stating my goals seems like I'm on a job interview, so I'm going to just say that my hope is that I will someday not be the only one living in this house. I never thought I'd buy my first house on my own, but here I am, and I'm making the best of it. I hope to meet someone who is smart and has a similar sense of humor and someone who is confident and knows what he wants. I want a guy who works hard, but can also have fun. For a first date, I think meeting at a quiet bar for a drink is great. I prefer places where you can actually have a conversation, rather than yelling over a band or DJ. This may sound cheesy, but I really enjoy looking around Antique stores and thrift stores, and I think that could make a fun date too. Sporting events and concerts are also awesome, but probably not until after we've gotten past the first date and are sure we can handle 3 hours with each other!
