About Me

I'm creative, curious, and compassionate. I'm a huge cinephile, I like movies of any genre, to me a good movie is a good movie although good rom-coms are few and far between, that said, I love Film Noir, action/espionage, classic 30's and 40's comedies, heist movies, and classic French, Italian and Japanese (I'll watch just about anything with Samurai) films the most. I won't turn down a good superhero movie either. I'm looking to further my education, possibly with an eye towards a career in restoration. I absolutely love being in the water, when I was little I used to stay in the water at the beach until I was pruney and blue and my parents were yelling at me that it was time to go home. Not a lot has changed. I enjoy being outside and just going for a long walk or a hike. I like to dance too, even if I'm at home and it's only me. I'm looking for someone who is kind and honest, with a good sense of humour. I'd like to meet someone that I'd be friends with even if I wasn't romantically involved with him. I like people who have a good sense of who they are, people who know both the good and the bad parts of themselves.

Looking for: man. In age: 28-38

I am a big hearted person. I will do anything to see you smile. I love my life. I have two wonderful boys and we are big time football fans. I like to be outdoors when I can. Sitting inside watching movies or playing cards is cool too. I love to go dancing and chilling by a fire and having a few beers. Maybe I need to be a little more crazy! When I say I need to get a little crazy, I don't mean I want to get you naked and have crazy, nasty, hot sex with you. Although that could be fun............ lol. What I mean is, it seems like men always fall for the crazy women and the good girls like me finish last.If you are really interested in getting to know more about me, you can look at my *** Love Hope Courage. Surprise me.

I'm just having a look around. I'm newly single, and I figure I might as well put it out there to see what I find. I've had success with meetville in the past, most of my friends are in relationships, so this site just makes sense. I'm finally at that age & point in my life where I'm looking for and appreciate a nice guy, a man with goals and not just tattoos. I've learned that it's the person that I fall for, not their looks. I have a beautiful son who is the world to me. If I end up in a relationship, I want that man to be a positive influence & someone my son can look up to. NB: not looking for someone to "be" his dad, it just means if you're an ass, move along. :)I work hard, so it's only fair that I expect the same from my partner. I have a car, a job, goals, dreams, baggage & bills. We're adults, and assume we all do. I love spending time up at the cottage, family dinners, taking drives, country fairs, indie music, crosswords, video games, a great cup of coffee, reading, and having someone to share it with. I look forward to seeing what's out there. Good luck!

This profile is under construction :) I like to keep active at the gym, playing softball and coaching skating. This winter I'm hoping to try some skiing and maybe even curling. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews and they mean the world to me. I love spending time with friends, whether it's an activity, a drink on a patio or just sitting around talking.I am ready to find a partner to share life with, but i don't want to rush it. And meeting new friends along the way is never a bad thing. Lately I've been trying to live by the following philosophy:A professor took an empty mayonnaise jar and filled it with golf balls, pebbles, sand and two cups of coffee. The jar represents life. The golf balls are the important things, things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, life would still be full. Family, friends, health, children and favourite passions. The pebbles are things that matter, like jobs, house and car.The sand is everything else - the small stuff. If you put the sand into the jar first, there is no room for the pebbles or golf balls. The same goes for life.If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.Take care of the golf balls first - the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand. And the coffee is to show that no matter how full your life may seem, there is always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend. If there is anything you would like to know, just ask. Happy fishing :-) Something somewhat active to break the ice and have a chance to talk. A walk or even something silly like mini golf.
