I am an island girl who loves to spend time at the ocean, but also loves to venture off to the mountains. I guess I just love being in and surrounded by nature. I just discovered a new amazing place that is like the tropics yet you're still in BC...Savary Island. Have you been there yet? Swimming in the warm ocean waters...I was in heaven. We truly live in a beautiful place.I love going on adventures, and I go on as many as possible. But...I also enjoy spending time at home....making dinner, cozy'ing up...relaxing. My home is very important to me. Balance in life is key.Other things that I like to spend my time and energy on is nutrition, my friendships, photography, yoga (this had actually slipped out of my life...but I've just started to embrace it again), hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding (I have been dabbling in split-boarding the last couple winters), cooking...If I had an outdoor space I would love to have a lil' garden to grow my own veggies. My steps have turned into a container garden...which gives me a little taste of what it would be like.There you have just a little bit of insight into who I am...I know it's like finding a needle in a haystack but I believe that person is somewhere... out there...I would enjoy a partner who knows who they are and is comfortable with who they are. I've learned a lot in the last couple of years... A lot about me, my wants, my needs, my desires, my dreams.. I'm looking for someone who I can share that with. I'm a very goal determined person.. The times that I have felt low, I always look up to the sky and say the sky is still blue and the sun is still shining.. everything is as it should be.I have daughters that are so smart and so beautiful (wonder where they get that from.. ;***Every day I learn so much from them, just as much as I try to teach them. And I've got from them a few times.. 'yeah, mom, you are smart..' as if they're totally amazed.. haha! These days they're too cool to hang out with their lame mom.. lol But I guess that leaves a little more time for me and you ;)One of my favorite hobbies, and I've gotten my girls into it too, is photography.. not just taking the picture, but the fun we have altering it with a photo editor.. you may be able to notice that from a few of my photos.. but it's fun and I really enjoy doing it :) I've also started re-purposing old furniture, giving it that vintage look.. maybe one day I'll be able to sell my creations lol. I have a few other causes that I'm devoting some time to these days.. maybe talk to you about that over some sort of beverage ;)I'm not a vain person, so it's not all about looks. But there has to be some chemistry. I don't need to be with someone, but I would like to be.. I put my effort into it, and so should you. I've never really been an outdoor person, unless you count laying on the beach at Echodale, but I'd like to be. I want to camp and go hiking. I have a bit of an adventurist side of me..
