About Me

Have spent the past year working on my relationship with myself. Seems it is time to date again. I am a student and practitioner of alternative medicine. I do my best to stay aware of world events while keeping my focus on solutions rather than problems. I keep it positive and real in my Universe and prefer those around me to do the same. I love music and appreciate art. Photography is a hobby I am developing. I do yoga, am a Reiki practitioner, and completely have trust that the mind/body is able to heal itself. I am a city girl, but love the outdoors. I am not into partying. The functions I go to are usually having to do with energy work--like life force energy...energy healing. I would love to have someone that can hold a conversation about how the universe works...or whatever...just not sports and not about everything you have or have done. I am not materialistic..however, I do not think money is evil either..I feel there is plenty to go around and if you have having a hard time getting it you are probably stuck in some kind of lack mode. I do not **** about the state of the union (world), nor do I care to hear others doing it either. If you do not like something, then do something about it...figure out how you can help.     I'm a simple person really. I'm laid back, open minded, non judgmental. I treat others the way I want to be treated. That being said, I do not like being treated as an option or an after thought. I also listen to and enjoy many other types of music except hard core rap and Opera. I grew up in the 80s, who doesn't love the hairbands? I love going to concerts or seeing live bands in smaller places. Summer festivals are great for people watching and discovering new local bands.Love to be outside in warmer weather and tend to stay indoors in the colder months....unless of course I can keep warm while I am out. A nice dinner with great conversation is good. A movie in a theater now and then is great. Also just like to hang out at home and have a home cooked meal, watch a DVD or Netflix, play a game, etc. A good comedian is always a treat to watch/see. I love to laugh and smile. The endorphins released in your body when you laugh are good for you!! Always willing to try new things - ok maybe not jumping out of a plane! I am also a very affectionate person. A long gaze from across the room reminds you that I only have eyes for you. I do not mind public displays of affection with the person in my life. I am a hugger, a hand holder, a kisser, and someone who makes frequent eye contact (I have made people uncomfortable with it before - didn't mean to, just the way I am). Hopefully you are the same way. Looking to meet some new and interesting people. I don't want to give a long "grocery" list of what I'm looking for because it just doesn't seem fair to me. Everyone has their own special "something". Obviously we have to have an attraction to each other and something in common to talk about, but I really am an easy going person.
