FYI - I don't partake or pay attention to the "meet me" section ... Don't really know anyone here, so open to hanging out with some cool peeps. And by hang out, I do not mean in either of our places for a first meet!!Dating can be hard and disappointing, but is essential for moving into relationships. And while we often may feel jaded, we need these experiences to provide guidance. I learnt a lot in my past relationships, about myself and about what I am looking for in a partner. And with each new person I meet I learn more about what I want and don't want.I think a good friendship is important for a solid relationship, so starting out slow is ok. But too slow is pointless. If you can't chat and see each other on a regular basis then its impossible to get to know each other and move forward. And please, if you are still dealing with issues from past relationships and are not ready to be in something serious, don't waste my time. While I am not looking to get married or settle down immediately, I am not interested in casual/multiple dating. I prefer to explore one option at a time.I have a variety of interests, from motorcycles, travel, scuba diving, exercising, music, books, movies, theatre, hockey, live comedy and fine dining.     Despite working in the Sales and Marketing profession, I struggle to market myself personally on this site. This is my first venture into this type of dating platform, so please bear with me. :)I am an independent, confident, career-minded woman. While I continue to focus on my career, all the success in the world isn't going to mean anything without having someone special to love and share it with.The late night bar scene as a regular activity does not interest me, but I could still enjoy a great dance club every once in a while. I can take my son fishing, then throw on my heels to meet friends to check out a new restaurant or see a live band. I am also always up for a day/night at a sports bar to catch a football or baseball game, or a soccer match. There is also nothing wrong with spending a night in, or on a picnic with a bottle of wine somewhere by the water. I love to cook and entertain, but I could use someone to help me perfect my grilling skills! In summary, I'm pretty much up for anything! As long as there are smiles, laughter, and good company, it's time well spent. I am a big believer that your appearance is a real representation of who you are and the way you approach other aspects of your life. I am not high maintenance, but I do take pride in how I present myself. It's also important to me that the person I am with feels proud when we walk into a room together. I would hope that person feels similarly about themselves, as well. Just to note, my favorite look for a guy for a night out is jeans with a sport coat and dress shoes. :) So, I suppose this wouldn't be complete without mentioning what I'm looking for in a partner: honesty, loyalty, respect, compassion, romance, pride in yourself, the ability to make time for fun as a couple, and have a desire to find that one special person.
