About Me

I am laid back and easy to get along with. I love singing and enjoy all types of music. I am currently attending OSU and will graduate with my accounting degree next year. I tried this once before and mostly attracted stalkers so I'm hoping for better luck this time . . .

Hi! I am a Christian who is seeking to glorify God--meaning that my lifestyle choices are shaped by God's *** believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that Christ was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead so that anyone who believes can be reconciled to God. I do have high standards/morals for myself, and I attend church regularly--not because I think I need to work my way to Heaven, but because church is a place where I am taught from the Word and encouraged by a community of fellow believers. Also, it's really important for me to be with someone who has very similar religious beliefs. I teach English to the older kiddos, and yes, I have the best job. My students are so much fun, and they definitely know how to make me laugh! Seriously, it's pretty much my dream job. I'm also really into music. I play french horn and piano. And being the English/music girl that I am, I love plays, musicals, and concerts. I also like sporting events! I haven't been to a Thunder game yet, but I've seen the Oilers and the Drillers play. And I might have a crush on Roger Federer, but he's taken. Sigh.I am training for a 15K in October. Signing up for these crazy races keeps me going. I've also dabbled in yoga and pilates. I like to be healthy, so I take vitamins and try to buy organic food as much as possible; but I still love ice cream and dark chocolate!I am a content person. I don't feel as if I need a man to be happy, but I think that having a man in my life would be quite lovely :) I have food, clothing, and shelter; and I have loving people in my life. So far, I've lived in some wonderful places, have met very loving people, and have learned much along the way. Do you remember Eeyore? I'm not like Eeyore--that whole woe-is-me attitude gets on my nerves.I appreciate a man who is passionate about life, knows what he believes and why he believes it, treats others as if they're made in the image of God (because they are), and knows how to laugh and have fun :) It's unfortunate that responsible guys are underrated. They're definitely not in my book! You can have fun yet still be a grown up. Bonus points for readers and grammarians :) It's always a good idea to do something that encourages conversation. I think first dates should be very low-pressure--both parties should laugh quite a bit.

I'm quirky, silly, blunt, and broken. My days are sometimes too dark, and my nights sometimes too long. I often trip over my own insecurities. I require attention, long for passion, and wish to be desired. I use music to speak when words fail me, even though words are important to me as the air I breathe. I love hard and with all that I have... and even with my faults, I am worth loving!I am a single mother of two beautiful/handsome children. My son turns 10 in June and my daughter will be a year old on March. I am a FULL time mother with my baby girl. She is with me 100% of the time. So if children are not your "thing", then it is best you not contact me. My children are the MOST important things in my life and they will always be put FIRST above anyone. :) I am a super friendly person and I am good at making others laugh. IF YOU ARE JUST PASSING THROUGH MY AREA FOR WORK, PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME FOR SOMEONE TO HANG OUT WITH FOR YOUR TIME HERE. IT'S A WASTE OF MY TIME. Things that I do NOT like:*People who brag about how much money they make, and are arrogant and self centered.*SLOPPY KISSERS/ BAD BREATH! If you are unsure of your breath, PLEASE chew gum or eat a mint. No one wants to smell funky breath.*Public affection on a first date. I want to get toKnow someone better before I get to this step. *Kids that do not mind their parents or other adults and those that are disrespectful. First dates really depend on the person. A nice dinner where we can have a great conversation. And then, go from there.
