Hi. I never really know how to describe myself. I don't really like that some of the drop down menus on this site pigeonhole you into making only one choice, because there are always exceptions and everyone is multi-faceted. I guess I'll tell you what I love. I love my kids first and foremost (seems like a dumb thing to say, because who doesn't?). I have two, and they are still living with me. I love my pets and my home. I love to work in the garden, and I love roses. Love antiques. I really love a good book or a good movie, usually fiction, but I am open minded. I love to meet friends in the local pub and I love good beer. I consider myself a positive person, and I try to be grateful for what I have. I love to laugh. I love the water, fresh or salt. I am happy at the beach, or at a remote campsite on a lake. I do love to travel, and have lived abroad, but traveling with kids at home would be a bit tricky for me right now.; It's usually not current pop. I've been told that have one of those personalities that can get along with anyone. It is mainly because I listen and care about what you're saying. My life has been enhanced by working with children and young adults, who keep me young and remind me to appreciate life and live it to the fullest. It is important for me to stay active. Simple things like a game of catch or Frisbee or even washing cars together are fun. My bike riding is getting better. I'm not a fan of camping, but will do it once in awhile if a canoe trip is involved. That doesn't mean I don't like the outdoors. Campfires are the bomb!!! Dinner and movies are fine! I'm into gardening and interior decorating and I'm not afraid of hard work. It's fun trying new things and I really like school. I am very much into the KC music scene and can show you lots. I am spiritual person of strong faith but not so much about religion. If I had the ideal relationship it would be someone who works hard, owns their own home and likes it that way! It needs to be someone who takes time for me by listening & seeing each other fairly regular basis. I'm over the "playing game" but willing to try because as male and female we truly think differently and it is a must! Real intelligence is super sexy, which is very different than being a "know-it-all"! That would be my Mr. Right! Maybe our time together will lead into something and perhaps it wont; but either way we can still have a friendship and that's very cool.
