I'm the girl next door...Fun, outgoing, social. I enjoy family time (I have one daughter who is in her last year of high school -), hanging out with friends, and my down time! I work hard and enjoy my job as an Army civilian. I spent five years in the Air Force and really enjoy working with the military. I'm not big into the club scene, so if that's your idea of a good time, I doubt we'll be a good match. My scene is more of the sports bar/backyard BBQ type. I don't mind staying in and renting movies, cooking a big meal and just enjoying the evening, nor do I mind going out on the town, or just relaxing on the beach or in the mountains somewhere. I'm a very down-to-earth type person. I've led a good life, not with lots of fanfare and money, but with love of family and friendships I've built to last a lifetime. Dinner at a quiet restaurant (not the busy chains) so you can actually hear each other talking and getting to know each other. Sporting event to let loose and have fun while being totally comfortable. Perhaps taking a long walk and having a drink or ice cream somewhere. Communication, eye contact, politeness...Just the easy, common-sense approach to a first date! Hopefully, the first date will leave a good impression and a second date will be forthcoming...
