About Me

As I read the questions, I can't help but wonder- would anyone honestly admit to being a drug addict who doesn't own a car? Just saying...At this point in my life, I've learned quite a bit about who I am and my beliefs. I have fun doing nearly anything because it's about who I'm with not the activity. I love camping and bonfires but I also get equally excited over a museum. Other highlights would be that 1. Laughter and good conversation is non-negotiable 2.Sundays are Fun Days and if the Packers are playing- that IS the plan for the day! And once you factor in pre and post-game festivities it really is a day long event 3. I have two cats***that is smart and one that would ride the short bus:) I love them both and they are not going anywhere 4. Family is important however, if a person is TOO close- it simply becomes weird. 5. The concept that it may be too late for coffee is foreign to me. 6. It is OK to have different opinions 7. Transformers, X-Men and the whole Marvel movie series is not just for boys 8. If you watch Doomsday Preppers for tips and not for entertainment value only- I will laugh at you.As for who I look for, because of my height, I prefer guys who are taller. While summertime may be flip flop season, I tend to favor heels other times of the year and am not into the whole Amazon woman look. I also like guys who like to do a variety of activities. During the summer I love camping and being on boats and who doesn't like to take advantage of outdoor seating at restaurants? In winter, I'm indoorsy because I get cold but I don't mind riding on the back of a snowmobile and I'd like to try snow-shoeing or cross country skiing at some point. Finally, intelligence is also very important to me- it's probably what's most important. I read a lot and follow the news and as I said above, excellent conversation is a must-have! When it comes to dating, I believe in seeing where things go. Maybe a friendship will develop, maybe something more, maybe nothing and that's OK too. In the end, everything is an experience and things work out however they should. In all honesty- to me, the best first dates are simple- especially for a first meeting. A happy hour or coffee shop can be great. If it goes well, you can always turn it into something more but if the chemistry is off- at least it's a short lived experience and possibly a story to tell!

Woman. 33 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 30-40

First of all, I am a smarta$$, sarcastic, independent, no bs, opinionated, blunt, hard headed woman. If you get past that, you'll find I am as genuine as they come. I was raised to be respectful to EVERYONE and to believe that everything happens for a reason. I have been through Hell, got the tshirt, and came home with the Devil's autograph on it. I teach high school math and am 'momma' to all my students. I enjoy almost everything in life - dancing, movies, dinner, lake stuff, etc. - and can adapt to almost any situation. Don't contact me if you:1. Can't bait your own hook2. Can't change your own oil3. Have never driven a truck4. Can't cook or do laundry5. Don't like kids and dogs???? I don't think this is my department.

So you want to know about me huh? okay then.....well I decided to set up this profile because it seems harder and harder to meet nice SINGLE dudes! I work every weekend so that eats up a lot of my social time. and when I do go out I want to spend time with my friends not talk to random strangers hoping to make a connection....I would like to find that "special someone" though :-) here are things I like to do: Play bean bags (really who doesn't?), Volleyball, and Badminton. Having small get together with my close friends, cooking and baking, going to see the latest flick, or checking out new restaurants and bars.I also like going to the beach, walking/hiking through forest preserves. Things I like to watch on TV: Football & Baseball (Go Cubbies!!)Walking Dead Ink Master 30 RockKardashians....( I know I know...) So I dunno really how much more I can say....to my computer screen! If you're interested hit me and up and we can talk more I think dates are great for people who really know each other and know what each person would enjoy. So that being said, I'm more comfortable meeting someone out for drinks first and see if there is a connection first!

I have enjoyed being single for a while so now it's time to get back in the game. My sense of humor is dark and sarcastic so you have been warned ;). I am not looking for 'casual', I actually want to meet and get to know someone. I love cooking, movies, pretty dresses, and christmas music. If you want to know more, ask. A few things to consider before you message me:I don't do drugs and I don't care to be around anyone who does. Also, if you live with your parents or on a friend's couch, or have small children, I'm not interested.I don't like looking at pictures of people holding dead animals. If you only have 1 blurry picture of yourself in the bathroom mirror, you won't get a response. And if you're not smiling I will pass you by. Nobody likes your ' thug' face bro. I will not respond to a message that just says "Hi" or "Hey". Ask me some fun questions! Please be honest about how tall you are because I like to wear heels. That translates to: Anyone under 5'9" need not apply. And if you don't have hair, don't bother. Also, recent events have brought to my attention that I actually have to say that I will not get involved with a married man. This is a toughie! The only thing that comes to mind is mainlining tequila. Just kidding...it would have to be vodka. Seriously though, bowling or a pub quiz would be fun and its good to have an activity to keep the conversation going.
