Not sure where to begin. I guess I can start with I had a ten year marriage. Been divorced now for about 3 yrs. Have had a few relationships in that time. Some random things about who I am:--I have many throw pillows for my bed that are really pretty, but I mostly just throw them in the corner.-I do like to dress up and be “girlie,” but I prefer my favorite jeans and boots with a t-shirt.-Fall is my favorite time of the year with the changing leaves, crisp cool air, smell of a fire, and getting caught up in the excitement of football season (even though I am not a huge football fan.)-I can be really stubborn and passionate about certain issues, but can laugh at myself if I get too serious.Actually, I laugh at myself a lot; I am hysterically funny in a slapstick humor kind of way. Just the other day I tried to smell some new lotion at the store and squirted it up my nose *** greatly amused my fellow shoppers.-I love kids and watching them discover the world around them, but I don’t have any myself.-I hiked up one of the highest dunes in the Namib Desert in ***degree heat, but I do not really like to be hot.-I lived in southern Africa in Nambia for 2 ½ years and NYC for 3 years and even though I love learning about other people and cultures, home is where my heart will always be. -I love the country AND the city, but have not yet figured out how to have both at the same time, at least not without a lot of money.-Love a good adventure so much that I (mostly) camped across country while on crutches, but I also like to veg out on the couch and read or watch a movie at home. I love classic movies, dramas, some foreign films, and documentaries, but one of my favorites is “Stepbrothers.” (What can I say? It makes me laugh!)-I can be shy at times, but have been known to be the life of the party. Can usually fit in at most any social situation both locally or abroad. LOL-I will admit that I enjoy hanging out with guys sometimes dropping the F bomb (yikes) without worry, drinking beer, and just being myself, but I also love hanging out with the girls, drinking wine, shopping , talking (mostly about all those things guys dream we talk about) and still just being myself. That is why I am grateful for great friends. -I know how to say, “I am sorry” and mean it.-I guess I am goofy, quirky, serious, real, passionate, crazy, honest, genuine, compassionate, adventurous, open-minded, curious, sarcastic, loving and a whole lot more.Things I hope that you are:-Funny and can laugh at yourself-Honest and genuine-Open-minded-Somewhat adventurous and willing to try new things.
