About Me

Thanks for making a pitstop to view my profile. Well cared for, rare & sporty ***model, low mileage, looks newer than actual age despite having been around the block a few times! Not perfect by any means, and happily accept my imperfections acquired on the road of life. Needs minimal maintenance, not afraid to get tires dirty, goes anywhere and fits in. Purrs along in all weather with 60s 70s 80s 90s or country music playing ... lots of singing going on too! Loves to haul friends, family, golf clubs, baseball gear, wood for a campfire, beach toys as well as renovation tools and supplies. May relocate in the parking lot while you are in the grocery store simply for amusement to feed my whacky sense of humour. Very dependable, sincere, loyal, caring, compassionate and giving. Interested to meet new friends along this journey we call life. Note - while I appreciate tire kickers, I don't compromise my ethics and values. I am unlikely to respond unless I sense a connection (meaning you are a mature gentleman) who, like me, believes that everything begins with friendship. So, if you are not of a similar philosophy, and 'antique' vintage, please, keep on driving, No picture = no response. Life is short - make fun of it! Thanks for stopping by ... safe & happy trails ... zoom zoom ... Entirely open for discussion, have wheels, can travel.

I'm active and fit and enjoy the outdoors. My favourite sports are cycling, hiking, rock climbing, backcountry skiing... and mountaineering when I can fit that in. Most of my pictures show the active side of my nature... don't despair... I also enjoy downtime: listening to music, reading, watching movies, and hanging out. I'm looking for a guy who is financially stable, handsome, and has a good sense of humour... someone who shares some of my interests and also has some of his own.I suppose a lot more can be written about myself and what I'm looking for in a partner; let's meet *** share in person ;) walk, talk, laugh :)

Well I thought I would up date my profile a bit...the description of myself is all the same. At this point in my life I would like to have a friend, significant other to be with. I enjoy travelling and have to means to do it and a travel partner would be great. I am a financially and emotionally secure single female. Not into playing any games or multiple guys to date, and would expect the same in return . Would like to meet a nice man with similar interest to date and see what happens from there. I like all the normal activities (listed above) open to some new activities as well. I have two children, we are still very close and they are still very much part of my life, but with them living on their own my life is very flexible. If you would like to know more just mail message me and ask away.P.S. just a small note: Not to sound rude but if I add you to my favorites list and you have no interest please just delete yourself. That way I know if there is any interest or I'm wasting my time. I read this on a profile and thought it was one of the best things I have read in a very long time, so I thought I would post it for all to read. ENJOY!!!One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley. A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes,they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart. Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, "Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine." The crowd and the young man looked at the old man's heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn't fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing. The people stared -- how can he say his heart is more beautiful, they thought? The young man looked at the old man's heart and saw its state and laughed. "You must be joking," he said. "Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears." "Yes," said the old man, "yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love - I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart, which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren't exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared. Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn't returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges -- giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?" The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks. He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands. The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man's heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges. The young man looked at his heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man's heart flowed into his.they embraced and walked away side by side,, Ah first date.....I think like most other people on this site best would probably be to keep it simple. Maybe a walk, go for coffee, a drink. A nice relaxed get to know each other.Second date would obviously get a bit more interesting...you would know if you want to spend more time with the person.
