I tend not to act my age as I live by this quote from a friend "Growing old is mandatory, Growing up is optional." I enjoy a wide variety of music but prefer classic rock, you know 60's to 80's and some of the newer stuff. I love watching movies, going to concerts, listening to music, playing cards and spending time with friends and family.I enjoy sports especially hockey, baseball and golf.I love to travel. I love taking drives in the country.     First and foremost I am a dad. I am a firefighter by profession and a musician because I love music, all types of music. I sing, play guitar and I'm currently trying to learn piano. I am an avid reader, mostly non fiction but I enjoy a good novel. My favourite sport is soccer, but there are really very few sports that I don't enjoy. I play as well as watch. Love to sail my boat (it's nothing fancy) but being on the water is therapeutic, not saying that I need therapy. I travel as often as possible, usually three or four times per year. A partner with a sense of humour is a huge bonus but I manage to laugh at myself daily so if you're a little serious that's fine. Just be yourself. I would like to meet a strong, independent woman who knows who she is. Not still searching. Someone who is sexy, fun loving, easy going but with an appetite for adventure. Oh I should mention that I have my own home, my own car, and I do my own laundry. Could use help folding but not a deal breaker. On a first date I would like to spend a little time getting to know each other. Perhaps go to a cafe for a few laughs and some stimulating conversation.
