So here's to all the ole timer's that have been looking for lust, love, friends...companionship...How long does it take us? How long do we stay in the Pond swimming around...looking? I'm often asked is it that I'm picky, selective? Why is it that I am still here. I'm here, I came back because I rarely go out, I don't do the whole bar scene. So were does a single girl meet a guy these days. Heck I have tried the whole Home Depot thing, Grocery Store, etc...yeah that doesn't work. Guys are to shy, and so am I. To shy to say more then a quick hi and smile. So that brings me back to the Online Party. Where I am not picky, I am just being cautious. I want to make sure that the guy I meet, is the guy that will be around, next week, and the week after that, and so on. I know that there are no quarantee's in anything. but what I do know is this:When I meet someone, and the converstion flows freely, and the laughter feels the air, my hearts pounds out of my chest with excitement, my eyes dance each time he speaks and smiles at me, and when he talks, I love to hear the sound of his voice, and when he puts his hand in mine, it meshes just right. These are just a few things that tell me that this is the guy...this guy will be back tomorrow, next week...and I hope many times after that. Its a feeling I get.I have been single for a very long time, 4 years to be exact, Divorced for 11 and although many have seen me online, you will be shocked (maybe not) to know that I have not been on many dates while on this site. Its my favorite time of the year..but I do love the fall, that smell it leaves in the air! Halloween is one of my favorite time of the year, next to Christmas. I love decorating for the Holidays. Going to Tahoe for Christmas. Having Snow on Christmas Day...its amazing! I learned to Snowboard a couple years ago..fun times, oh and ice skating to... :)I love Hot Rod / car shows, boat shows. Love going to Concerts. Rodeos, Festivals, Winetasting, back road weekend getaways. To be honest here...there isn't really to much I don't like to do. from backyard BBQ's with friends & family, Friday nite cuddling on the couch movie nite with a glass of wine. Ole man winter and cracklin fireplace. So many things we could list. But all these things are pretty boring and kinda lonely with one person. Sure would make nites & weekends easier if they where shared with two, *** one.This is all I have ...now that you know a lil about me... I don’t want one of the generic, low-life, defective models. No users, boozers, losers, or boring snoozers. They do not fit into my current lifestyle and they don’t qualify to be part of my future. The man I want should smell like testosterone and have real “man skills.” I want a man that knows how to mow the lawn, wash the car, and repair things. Please don’t think that I am lazy and cannot do these things for myself. I want a passionate lover that is willing AND ABLE to make love any time, any place.I also want him to protect me. I want to experience that “safe” feeling you get when a real man is holding you during a thunder storm. He will be man enough to scare the boogieman away and will be willing to get out of bed and check on that noise outside (or at least act like he did). He will kill spiders and other bugs and NOT try to put the dead bug anywhere near me. I want him to WANT to take care of me. If I am sick, he should WANT to make me a cup of tea or run to the store for cold medicine. (Don’t worry, I will NEVER send him to the store to buy the big purple box) He needs to be my best friend. He needs to be my activity partner and be willing to discover new things together. If he comes equipped with a boat or a motorcycle, that would be awesome but is not a requirement. He MUST be equipped with a great sense of humor and be able to make me laugh. I tend to crack a lot of jokes and if he cannot understand my warped sense of humor, I will have to return him to the dating pool.I saved the most important attribute for last. He MUST be equipped with an open heart which means he must be able to GIVE love and not just receive love. I will not waste my time on a man that is incapable of loving me the way I deserve to be loved. He needs to be kind, caring, honest, faithful, and love only me. I know I have asked for a lot. I appreciate a great sense of humor and a little adventure. Being able to laugh is important, I'll save being serious for the office. I enjoy camping, fishing, and riding horses and ATVs. Reading, old movies, and cooking are things I also enjoy. Nothing better than spending a rainy day watching the entire Godfather or Star Wars movie collections while cooking up some "experiment" in the kitchen. On second thought, I can think of something better but the censors may not approve. I hope to meet someone with a sense of adventure, a sense of humor, and a touch of class while still being down to Earth. Applicants must be easy going, drama free, and know how to relax, laugh and enjoy life. You get bonus points if you have a boat or a motorcycle. Take me fishing or take me on a poker run - its all fun. I love concerts, music festivals, and amusement parks. If loud music or roller coasters are too intense for you, we won't make a good match.
