About Me

I'm a 42 year old single Mom of a 19 year old that still lives at home with me. Hopefully that will change sometime in the near future. I love my son, he is a slob though and I am a bit of a neat freak. I am also grounded, stable, level headed, strong, independent, compassionate and was recently told "You have the most stubborn heart of gold I have ever seen." I have lots of friends I have been friends with for 10 to 25 years. I tend to be a little on the quite side until I get to know you, but after that..... I enjoy camping, fishing, boating, shooting guns, working out, but I also like to get my nails done, put a dress and heels on to go have a nice evening out. I consider myself to be very versatile. A night in cuddling on the couch with a movie is always a nice treat also. My Goldendoodle is the love of my life right now and I spend a lot of time running or walking with him. He gets so excited when I get his leash out. :-) I have a stable career with a company I have enjoyed being with for 7 years now. I would love to find a nice, outgoing, honest and stable partner. Partner being the key word. Someone who is full of positive energy and is NOT crazy. Haha! Someone that loves to go do things and is also handy around around the house. I want someone I feel safe and secure with. I don't think a first date should be anything too elaborate. Something simple, out somewhere quiet where you can enjoy good conversation and determine if there should be a second date.

    What to say? I tend to over-think what I should put on this profile. If I write too much does everything get read? Currently I am up to 40lbs lost, I lift weights a bit, work on the cardio, attempt to sprint periodically, and I teach water aerobics two nights a week. I love riding the bike path and taking my dogs for walks/ hikes.When I'm not working or going to the gym, I do what everyone else does. I walk my dogs, clean my house, veg out in front of the T.V, catch up with friends, mow the yard, etc. I would like to throw some more fun things in there, like hit a museum or two or drive somewhere new and see what can be discovered. Canoeing is fun but need a buddy. Wanna go? We can discuss that later if we get that far. But I love to travel, just haven't for a while outside of heading to R.I. to hang with some good friends who are like family. There are some places I haven't been that I would like to see, and some I would love to see again, as well as visit some friends I haven't seen in ages.Not sure what else I should say.
