I am not an extraordinary woman but I laugh at silly things and cry when I watch romantic movies or hear sad love songs. I am immensely passionate and loving than you can ever dream of. I may be flawed and imperfect. But I am more generous and warm than you can perceive. I want a life that sizzles and pops and makes me laugh out loud. And I don’t want to get to the end, or to tomorrow, even, and realize that my life is a collection of meetings and errands and receipts and stepping on Lego and dirty dishes and laundry. I want to eat raspberries and sing out loud in the car with the windows open and wear sunglasses and flip flops and stay up all night laughing. I want to drink tea while listening to a thunderstorm while watching the lightening bolts. I want to dance in public like no one is watching. I want to sleep hard on clean white sheets. I want to kiss passionately and throw parties and eat cheese and read books so good they make me jump up and down.A man; well, when it comes to a man I don't want one to appear out of a fairy tale. I'm not impressed with super heroes or by knights in armor with swords in their hands. You can charm me by your strong character rather than a strong body. I want someone who wears his heart on his sleeve and makes me laugh until my sides hurt. Who I can also fall back on when I'm shattered. Someone who can support me unconditionally and stay connected to me soulfully. I want a man to share my secrets with, someone to talk to late at night when I can't sleep, someone to comfort me when I'm scared, to hold me when I'm sad and not complain about all these run-on sentences. A hand that fits perfectly in mine like we were made for each other. I especially want someone who doesn't need to say that he loves me for me to know its true.There is one thing I am CERTAIN of.....You can find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams you want to come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. They make you feel beautiful everyday. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a letter, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person from the moment you wake to the moment you close your eyes at night and they are in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a sunset, a familiar scent or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a best friend and possibly your soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.I want this magic again......
