I'm responsible, intelligent, confident, fun, and independent. Life's too short to worry about things I cannot change. I try to keep myself out of situations that might make me need to worry! I love to visit with and get to know new people. I enjoy the outdoors and getting out into nature. Hiking in the mountains is probably one of my favorite ways to get away from the TX heat. And yes, I love to travel. My goal is to visit all 50 states... I enjoy playing golf and snow skiing although I'm not that good at either. Country Girl. Grew up on a farm, but I'm not a hick. I clean up pretty well. :-) I like to work in the yard and flowerbeds. I'm a good cook but keep it simple and make some awesome cookies. My kids are grown, gone, and not dependent on me. We do maintain a good relationship. Although my intent says "...nothing serious", if something developed, I'd be OK with that. Musically, I like most anything that people my age like... I'm looking for a man who's responsible, happy, intelligent, fun, caring, and confident. Its more about who you are and not what you look like.Someone who realizes that a "relationship" goes beyond having fun.     Hmmm trying to describe me and what I am about is proving more challenging than I thought. I am the very proud mom of two children, neither live at home but both are close so we are able to get together frequently. I own my own home...but I do yard work out of necessity, not because I enjoy mowing! There are so many more fun things to do! I am missing that great feeling of comfort and love that you get when you are with someone who cares, so here I am. I think I am a fun, funny and energetic lady. I love to try new things, and there is nothing better than being with someone who makes me laugh! (Well..) I also enjoy road trips, hanging on the couch watching a good movie, going out for good food or to hear some live music. I am not a great cook, but my kids didn't starve, so adequate is the best description I can think of. I am told my sense of humor is on the sarcastic side...I will let you decide. I work out ***times per week, but am happy to skip the gym for something that is more fun. I enjoy camping, but not necessarily roughing it so last fall I bought my own camper, I really miss my tent....not. Ha ha. I like getting to the farmers market, concert on the square, and going to hear live music. I also play on a local pool team. I wish I could say I am a Skilled player, but that was years ago. Now it is a fun hobby and reason to get out and do something, especially in those cold winter months. I am hoping to find a great guy who would like to bring me into his life and I can bring him into mine so we can share our interests and time together in hopes of building a friendship and possible long term relationship. Is there anyone out there interested in some fun times, some quiet times and maybe some new adventures? Out for coffee or a drink to chat and get to know each other would be a great start.
