I am a good hearted, fun loving lady who loves people and I love to enjoy myself whether it is going to a get together at a friend's house, occassionally going to a club or just sitting home with a good movie. I love the beach and expect that someday I'll have a little cottage on the shore somewhere... or at least that's a dream of mine..I would love to have a friend to hang out with, to talk with, see a movie, to just be with. I miss having someone whose life revolves around me and mine around theirs...within reason of course. A buddy and a friend first and foremost. A life is meant to be shared. I am hoping to find someone who is also tired of being alone.. But would like to be alone together.. To have dinner together .. spend an evening , doing nothing.. but being together, talking about our day... I've learned that a long distance relationship just doesn't work.. unfortunately. It just makes it easier to get together and dicover one another.I'm starting to think people are on here to browse or get some action.. I really hope to find a person sometime in the near future that is looking for someone to spend some time with.. Not looking for endless chat.. can't really get to know a person (or can you) and what they're all about until you get to meet in person ana spend some time together.I love music.. all kinds.. depends on the situation or the mood. Iove it all but country is probably my favorite.. it makes me happy. Not the twangy country but the hard country rock .. yeah.. even the twangy country. I love live bands..again doesn't matter the genre.. I love almost anthing I like to be spontaneous and am open to try most(almost)anything once.. ` That sounds like fun` is my mantra lol.. I am a bit on the shy side but once we get to know each other my bashfulness will soon disappear. Chances are it will be up to you to you to initiate first contact.. Old school you know.. lolI love to laugh, and sometimes people don`t get my sense of humour.. a bit on the dry side... tears streaming down my face and they will be just looking at me with their head tipped to the side saying `I don`t get it`.. Coffee, farmer's market, drink,movie, whatever we decide on together

    Hi... I work as a computer programmer and while I enjoy it very much, I'm more focused on my time-off. I enjoy going to a good concert, spending a day in NYC or any city for that matter, going for walks, taking in a movie, trying to play tennis without looking totally stupid, strolling a beach boardwalk and just hanging out doing nothing. I would like to do some more world traveling in the future. (I need someone fun to go with though!). I'm pretty easy going and really try to make the best of any given situation. I have 2 grown children who live out of state and judging from their successes, I've done a pretty good job I think. I have a little dog and a cat that co-exist. Jake, my dog, loves her (and everyone really), but she gets him in a headlock often to show who is boss. Now onto you....The man I hope to find would be intelligent, playful, humorous, and would turn out to be my best friend for life. Oh to think that could actually happen right here on POF! Sigh.....Honesty, trust and respect are foremost. If you aren't honest, there's no trust or respect. I have no interest in arrogance and playing head games with anyone. I hope to find someone who isn't addicted to this dating site and is serious about meeting the "right" one. I have no desire to become a dating guru and hope to get off this site fairly soon, like tomorrow if possible. Anything that doesn't seem like a job interview
