About Me

I have my masters degree in Special Education and I am a special education teacher at the elementary level. I love my job and the children I work with. They are truly amazing. I have an 8 year old daughter who is the most wonderful person in my life. I love to swim, camp, go to the lake, and to be outdoors. I am adventurous and love to try new and exciting things, but I also enjoy reading a good book and hanging at home with friends and family. I have recently discovered that I like to cook and I have been working on increasing this skill. I like all kinds of different music but I would have to say that rock is probably my favorite. I am loud, definitely not shy, and open to new things. If you would like to know more please message me. My main goal for this site is to find someone who fits in with me and my hectic little life.     Welcome to my profile, where I will attempt to entice you with tidbits about me whilst remaining mysterious and interesting. I am a clinical social worker but am in the midst of a career change which requires significant additional schooling. I'm not a huge fan of the uncertainty that comes with taking the plunge, but I'm giving up the good to go for the great. In my free time I like to do the things most people do I suppose. I like happy hour with friends, hikes with my dog, snowboarding in the winter, visiting family, traveling, you get the picture. Horses are a huge part of my life and take up a lot of my free time. I love the sport of dressage and am dedicated to learning and progressing as a rider. Plus it's just really fun to go play with ponies like 5 nights a week.I'm a very patient person. I like to crack jokes to ease tension in awkward situations. I'm very supportive of my friends and family. I'm not a big drinker or partier but I do enjoy the occasional night on the town. I think I'm a pretty well-rounded and interesting individual with lots going for me and I'm looking for someone with ambition to match my own. I think of first dates as interviews, not dates. You don't know if you like someone until you meet them face to face, right? Something low key and generic for a first date is totally fine with me.
