Time with friends and family is important to me, because they're what matters in life. The best times can be anything from listening to music on the back porch, to hanging out with friends at the lake, to climbing to the top of a mountain. I like road trips and want to take more of them; I love the beach and the mountains...NC has it all and I want to get out and see it with someone I enjoy spending time with. It's not as much the place you go, as the company you're with, that make the best memories. Positive people are uplifting and easier to be around, so I try to be that way, (most of the time)! I want to meet someone who is in a good place and knows what he wants in life, (in terms of a relationship). I know what I want and am ready to start enjoying the good things in life with someone like-minded. I believe compromise is the key to any successful relationship, (friendship or otherwise), along with honesty, kindness and the desire to actually talk and spend time together. Texting is best when used sparingly; I'd like to meet a man who enjoys talking to me. Guess we'll see who's out there. :) Something fun, but short - like having a beer or drink. Going to the gallery hop or taking a walk. Meals are probably best saved for a 2nd date...unless you really click on that first meeting.
