Do you ever wonder if who you're looking for is looking for you? I love the saying "In the realm of possibility, anything is possible!" It really resonates with me. Being a hopeless romantic, I also agree with the Swedish proverb that "A life without love is like a year without Summer". I have lots of friends and enjoy building social equity with people. That said, I'd love nothing more than meeting someone who is chill enough to hang at home with and have a awesome time. I am discerning about who I share my energy with and am very reciprocal in a relationship. P.S. I do love that Stevie Winwood song "Higher Love". My most recent goal that I have set is to try all the microbreweries in the area. I just applied to a graduate program- haven't gotten the final word on being accepted. I am totally naive re how dating is done nowadays. I am looking for satisfied, smart men who have been through perhaps tough times - but have come out the other side still intact. I am a newbie (though learning as I go) to this all. Looking for honesty and guidance as I find my bearings. Up front I have to admit that I am a bookworm. I like nothing more than getting lost in a good read. Given the choice I will most often choose a book over television. Though I love a night out with dinner and a movie. As I've gotten older I'v become more content with the simple things in life. I've hit all career aspirations, my children are on the cusp of independence - well, emotionally at least... I really like what I do (clinical psychologist working in the field of test development) and feel like I am entering a new chapter of life. I am newly single and have no idea how to be single again. The rules, expectations and process are new and foriegn to say nothing about the fact that I am 20 years older then I was last - single. So I am in the mode of exploration. I hope for great adventures! Looking for someone to accompany me on the way! I am looking for someone I relate to well as a friend...thereafter we will see where things go.! Perhaps a cup of coffee somewhere off the beaten track (not Starbucks!)....)I need some guidance here as I have not been on a date for a really long time!
