About Me

How can a man adequately describe himself in something as one dimensional as the written word? There is so much that goes into a person and how he makes another feel that are difficult to express with a keyboard. While I am no E. L. I am as comfortable dressed up, walking through a downtown urban area of a major city in search of fine dining as I am trekking off trail through the mountains searching for prey. I can, and do, enjoy both equally and would be sad if I were to find out I had to give one of those activities up for good. I am equally at ease playing and roughhousing with a group of preschoolers as I am hotly debating the technical merits of a lawsuit with high powered attorneys. While I enjoy both, I only argue with attorneys for profit, but will roughhouse with children for the laughter and sheer joy of it. I am as skilled at repairing automobiles and houses, or chopping wood or growing a garden as I am at preparing a lecture on physics or engineering ethics. I have been fortunate in that I have been able to travel though most of the lower 48 states and several countries. I have traveled both for business and for pleasure and intend to do a lot more of both. I believe something is missing in the modern American man. I was brought to age by men who were shaped by the great depression and WWII and who had an older view of what men were supposed to be like. I believe that men should be strong, compassionate and gentle, willing to make decisions based on a consideration of who they are with. I will therefore never show up for a date and ask “what would you like to do.” If you have ever seen the movie second hand lions, I had men like the uncles influence me and I hope when I am that age I will be a lot like both of them. While I do have an earned black belt in a martial art and maintain a level of physical fitness, I have learned that women like a man who makes them feel safe and who can make them laugh. Now that I have my career in a good place I plan on beginning work on becoming a clown Ninja to expand my social options. The use of deadpan in humor is one of my favorite tactics and sometimes it takes my college students months to get a clue as to when I am serious or not. I tend towards playful sarcasm. It may be out of control, my own mother once bought me a shirt that said “Sarcasm is just another free service I provide.” My own mother! As I look back over this, I cringe at the fact that many of my paragraphs begin with “I”. But, after all this is supposed to be where I tell you about me to see if I can *** bit of interest. I have been privileged to get acquainted with many single people and know what I am looking for. I am looking for an engaging and well spoken woman who enjoys talking about her passions and interests; a woman who is comfortable in varied environments and enjoys new experiences. I have learned that for me, chemistry is a combination of physical attraction and the ability to converse and relate in a manner that there is a mental/emotional connection. I'm looking for that hard to describe chemistry mixed with compatibility that most of us are seeking. somewhere we could look in each others eyes, talk and see if we can establish an emotional and mental connection

I am a down to earth hard working guy. I am honest and genuine. I enjoy dining, listening to live music, dancing, PPAC and I love to laugh (especially *** myself). I love to make others laugh as well. I love to travel and have vacationed in such places as St. I like most all genres of music, but love Country. I keep myself in great shape by running and exercising at the gym ***times a week. I am up for hiking, kayaking, Skating or even a nice walk. I am a Therapist by trade and I am currently Director of Homecare services for a local Physical Therapy Practice. I would like to meet a woman who is kind, warm, passionate, strong, independent and has a good sense of humor. I would like to meet a woman who is career and goal oriented. I enjoy a good life and would love to share it with that someone special. No motorcycles here or pictures of me in the mirror with my shirt off. Sorry girls, you will have to get to know me for the shirt off thing. Physical attraction is important so please have current pictures; my pictures are current. Meet some place quiet for drinks or coffee and hopefully enjoy great conversation. Dinner is fine if we talk first and the conversation flows nicely.

Man. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.

Looking for: woman. In age: 43-53

Here is the short version of my story: Divorced with 2 kids at home, and on good terms with their mother, I have a job, a home, and a generally good outlook on life. Life is too much fun/amazing to spend alone, so I'm looking for someone for companionship first, maybe a LTR second. You must be intelligent, attractive and love to laugh. I love to travel, love to cook, love to eat (I'm a foodie) and I want to share these things and many others with a woman. I would like to meet someone who likes music (rock and roll, blues), motorsports, movies and can be a friend to my kids. If you have kids, that's fine too. I have a fantastic family and wonderful friends around me, and they would welcome you if I told them you were my friend.I have had some amazing experiences in my short life, and I don't feel or act like I'm 45. I love to laugh and make people smile. I love a cold beer, but I don't smoke or do drugs or have any criminal record. I am a Christian and try to live by those values, but I'm not going to preach to you. My two kids are both involved with athletics, get good grades and are just now learning what life is all about. People who know me would tell you I'm a good man and a good father. A good first date would be a simple affair - a drink after work, a meal somewhere we can talk, or taking a walk on the waterfront or in a park. Being able to have a conversation with a woman is really important to me. I want someone who can listen, yet still have my full attention...I'm not in this for a hookup or short term whatever.

Welcome to my profile. For your safety I ask that you please buckle your seat belt and keep your arms and legs inside the ride until the profile has come to a complete stop! You are prohibited from reading this profile if you suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease, or are pregnant. While reading this profile some people have experienced chest pains, shortness of breath, light headiness, and unexpected urinary release. Just kiddin...no I'm not...yes I am...no I'm not. Anyway where was I? Please have picture of bass boat in your profile. I am VERY adventurous. Heck one time I got liquored up and tore off one of those mattress tags that threatens penalty of LAW! I play outside without sunscreen and sometimes consume things that have been proven to kill lab mice. How DUMB is that? Without a doubt the most stupid thing I have ever done was the time I took some PMS and mixed it with some GPS. I created a witch that could find me!! Good LAWD kids don't try that at home! Relationships are hard. Some things that I have found that keeps you stuck on first base are mace, over protective dogs, tasers, and restraining orders! I mean...how can I get to know you if I can't come within ***feet of you???% I married at 17 and was widowed in ***. My daughter is 28 and is a nurse. My son is 23 and plans to be a pain in the rear! My grandsons are 4 and 1.The little one does this amazing trick where he takes baby food and turns it into POOP! I was part of a five generation family picture years ago. I was the oldest of ten grandchildren. With a large and close extended family, we had many great gatherings and laughs back then. Nobody in the family was divorced, had drug problems, or alcohol problems. Now many have passed and others have moved away. My grandmother died in October ***and the family all gathered as a whole for probably the last time since we are scattered as far as CA. We went to my grandmother's first house and asked the owner to let us take a picture. We lined up the ten of us grandchildren on the porch in the same order as we had done in another picture 28 years ago. That was so cool! Yup...I miss the good ole days :) I think we should go somewhere quiet where we can talk about your little shoe buying problem. Somewhere without any distractions so that you can focus on how it ever got this far. I know...it seemed harmless at first but now look at yourself! Somebody runs a "buy one pair for twice what they are worth and get one free sale" and you gotta have it. You need a fix. I would hope by the end of our first date that you could take the first step by admitting your little problem and hopefully even take the second step and go barefoot for a few minutes.I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that I am not taking this thing serious enough or else I would have a pic posted with my shirt off holding a beer up to the camera. Yeah...I see your point...I'll think about it.I NEVER make the same mistake twice. I do it three or four times just to be sure.Cupid? Pfft whatever! For the life of me I can't figure out what the guy does with his time!I like pets but I have been traveling so much with work that I can't even keep a Chia Pet alive. My experience on here tells me that if it walks like a duck...and it quacks like a duck...it's prolly a jackal :)Here are a couple of my vacation ***
