Well, time for a re-write(Dec 27, ***, here goes … Friends have described me as being compassionate, intelligent and funny (in my own unique way)! I also can't forget the word, curious. I like to ask questions and lots of them. Like most people I am multifaceted and different people bring out different aspects of my personality. I’m looking for someone with a positive energy … negativity is no fun. I believe that I'm articulate (although writing this is pretty challenging) and easy to get along with. I believe in the progression of relationships and love the initial "high" of connecting with someone. I am not in any rush and believe that "good things come to those who wait". Mutual matches, favourites, user searches; are you tired of dealing with all of these? So am I. So, what do you think, do you fit the “tab”? What I seek in a man is what I seek for myself; someone who is always evolving and improving the mind, body and spirit. Just an aside, if you can't spell or if you have any type of smell (other than something awesome) it just won't work, you are not for me. I must comment on the "I am looking for statement", for me " a relationship". What does this mean for me? This is the middle of the road option, according to meetville anyhow. It means getting to know someone and forming something unique, a relationship which could mean dating, a friendship, or something exclusive. All of these are attractive to me. I will share, that I recently lost my boyfriend of four years unexpectedly and so I am admittedly grieving, losing such a wonderful man. So why are you on here you ask? "Hope" and because there is no "correct" way to grieve, according to the Mourner's Bill of Rights. Another relevant comment is that as much as I enjoy spending time with others, I also like my alone time. I am telling you this because my first commitment is to myself and my semi-adult boys. With these in balance, I can “be with you” , when I’m with you. Children are my passion and have been the focus of my career thus far. I love kids from both a career and a personal perspective. Education is important to me. I am most compatible with like- minded professionals . PS I'm not interested in long distance relationships. Looking for someone living in the GTA and preferably max of 20 km from me. Also a picture is essential (NOT ONE WITH SUNGLASSES, either! ) If I can't see you, then I don't want to know you!! My life has been impacted by addiction in loved ones. PLEASE, IF YOU SMOKE ANYTHING, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME.For those who do contact me, who I don’t respond to (and or remove from my favourite list), please do not take it personally. You are beautiful in your own way, just not for me! I wish you all the best. It will be whatever we think would be right for us

Since last Saturday (that’s when I joined)- I noticed 2 things, some guys come on really strong and seem to want an *** up.… for what? Whatever happened to an interested man to ask for a ph # and calling to make a suitable plan for an easy going get together, even if it’s a week later after talking a couple times?I know it must be a catch 22, if you show interest and get rejected – man, that’s the worst. So if a woman shows interest and takes the initiative, does this also make you step back? Therefore, I removed the stuff about me, what I like, what makes me tick…etc… because when comes right down to it, we’re all in the same boat and life has many things to offer and for most of us it’s better with a partner – who when we actually meet and the chemistry is right, we can flow and blend with whatever both interests are and what two personalities are like together. I’ll say this - I do have a lot of energy and zest for life. Would like a man who can appreciate and be a part of a positive, upbeat and healthy lifestyle. I can also understand that by this time in our lives, we’ve all had one or two major relationships that have gone south and there’s baggage on both sides, so it’s all a matter of new attitude and new beginning – change. There’s more to the mix, than when we were in our 20’s and we were green. Now we’re a mix of dark green, yellow and maybe some other colors! Just my zaney take on this whole “online meeting” thing. And I had this on here before, I’m good with fun flirting and innuendos… but I won’t get into sexting, and blatant sexual remarks. I am very sexually open and willing with the right man. I know that leaving that side of me as something to be desired is way more sexy than losing my self respect even before I get to really know a man and whether I like him. afternoon thing ... keeping it simple, chatting over a couple beers... seeing if there is chemistry for a 2nd date.
