Well hello there . If you have made it this far you must have liked my pictures. We are all such visual people. I hope I peek an interest in you.I live by the notion a great friend used to live by, which is, "Work hard and play harder!". Time away from work should not be taken for granted. Haven't been on here for a while so just checking things out. Mostly just trying to expand my network and hopefully meet people who I wouldn't meet otherwise?A "partner in crime" would sure be nice! :-) But I realize that I can't force it. So seeing who I connect with. I'm open to a wide variety of things... I love the outdoors, yoga and the ocean...and in the winter time I'm in the mountains as much as possible. I work hard, but also REALLY value my personal time and love to travel - I'm taking all of November off and headed to Taiwan and Sri Lanka :-) I also teach yoga on the side. I like to think of myself as an all-around decent guy, a bit sarcastic and love to share a laugh. I am definitely a huge geek :-P I have an AWESOME group of crazy hippy friends that I am eternally grateful for and usually have a lot on the go. But I also try to make time for myself and it would be nice to share that time with someone special. I would love to hear from you if you are fun, happy, and comfortable in your own skin, you are into a few of: yoga, skiing/snowboarding, surfing, hiking/camping, biking, travelling, you are reasonably proficient with the use and interpretation of sarcasm...and LOVE to share a laugh :-)

Let's see... I work for OSU in a lab on campus and I am involved in protein purification and vaccine work. Yes, vaccines are safe unless you believe what ex-drug addict porn stars say. None of the aforementioned character defects could have possibly played a role in autism... :p Oh and sarcasm... Love it! :) I am fortunate enough to get to finish my degree in Microbiology between work hours. I am currently listed as a senior but it will take a little longer than normal to finish since I can only go to school half-time. Either way... totally grateful! :( I moved here, in part, to help my mother out after she developed COPD and my father had died of lung cancer. Most of my family lives here, including my grandparents with 73 years of marriage. I swear I don't know if they like each other to this day! Lol! But they are cute as can be.If I had label myself I would say I am a "realist." Is the glass half-full or half-empty? Well... It's completely full, of course, half liquid and half air. It seems over time I just started looking at things for what they were or more importantly aren't. It is, what it is kinda thing. About 5 years ago I had an epiphany and started living life differently. In the process I quit drinking and smoking, even quit drinking caffeine. I guess, when you lose a loved one, you start reevaluating your decisions. So that is where I am at today. Loving life as best I can, always with the help of God when I allow him. ;) I try to do the next right thing always. Except cussing... still working on that one! :p With all of the changes I was making it allowed me to find myself and be okay with just me (cue the violin, I know) and because of all of that, I stayed away from dating. Which is why I am here now. I don't know if that was the short version? :p The end :)
