I'm South African but you probably wouldn't be able to tell apart from by my weird accent. I lived in the UK during my formative years though, so I'd say I'm more culturally British, but somehow I've managed to retain my sunny optimism which has helped me to live in a constant state of denial for 10 years regarding British weather. I'm a creative person and I'd say that I'm pretty switched on. I live for music and art and and I'm really into philosophy, but that doesn't mean my head is in the clouds all the time, just most of the time. I'm quite unconventional in the way that I think politically and I generally dislike most forms of tradition, I'm all about creative expression; I enjoy doing spontaneous things and finding new ways to not be bored. I'm a warm hearted person by nature and I'm very open, I don't have or keep many secrets. I'm also very direct, which again is probably due to my South African upbringing - there aren't that many things that I strongly dislike about Britain, but one of them is passive aggressiveness - people would get on so much better if we weren't so damn cautious around each other!My general philosophy on life can be summarised by Tim Minchin, someone who looks scarily like an older version of me with longer hair, in this video: *** graduated last year and after completing a few internships and volunteering here and there I have now just started working for an events management agency, managing events for not-for-profits organisations. Digital/social media, copy writing, graphic design... you get the picture.I sometimes do some gig photography. My taste is varied and includes folk, hip-hop, ambient, hardcore punk, house... pretty much anything as long as it has some artistic merit.-; Pixies. I read books by both Ben Okri and Chinua Achebe last year and loved both authors - I'm definitely going to explore more Nigerian literature in the future.; I a big fan Studio Ghibli films - I think Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are absolute masterpieces. TV shows... Thick of It, Black Mirror, Twin Peaks, Black Books, Peep Show, Game of Thrones, The I.T. Crowd and Battlestar Galactica.

Hello.. if you are indeed lost then please don't ask me for directions as I seem to find it pretty easy to get lost in the town I live in let alone anywhere else! I work at a school making sure the IT geeky stuff works most of the time, it's a very rewarding job which I love very much. When I'm not at work you'll probably find me fixing something on my old car or out on some random road trip adventure. I run pretty much every other day and enjoy cycling occasionally... I'm very much in a GET FIT mindset at the moment and so giving it plenty of commitment on from my part, as much as my body seems to fight it!. I don't watch a great deal of TV (I do need a show to replace lost though.. badly) I spend far too much time thinking about what some brian cox space documentary I catch actually means. I'm not really much of a clubbing person really, I much more enjoy just going to a nice local pub for a meal or a couple drinks!. Traveling and sightseeing is certainly something I'm looking at doing more of in future, especially as I now have wheels under me, I don't really think I've explored much of the UK yet, let alone abroad..-do list at some point!. My family are very important too me and as I've got older..(and they have) I've realised more and more how delicate life is and really that you need to make the most of time you have with them and friends too... etc. I am very obsessed with my car sadly but if you saw it I'm sure you would understand!.
