Hello ladies thanks for reading my profile. i have been around Sports my whole life especially Golf. Has I have gotten older I appreciate so many more things. From Museums to live music and going out with friends. Very interested in politics and current events. Love to debate ways to make world a better place. I have recently set several goals for myself. The big one started last may when my Doctor said my blood pressure was high. I decided I am going to get back to my college weight and have lost 80 pounds. Now I am going for High school weight! LOLMy favorite music is classic rock bands like Led Zep and The Who. U2 and R. E.M. are also on my list.Has I said I have been around Golf a long time if you play that is a bonus but not a must by any means. I am looking for one lady to get to know and see where it goes. Things I seek in a woman: Intelligence. Assertiveness. Ambition. Confidence and a sense of self-worth. A sense of humor, maybe even a wicked sense of humor. (this not just a first-date thing - something ingrained in my character and a way of my life.) She should; have a career, volunteer or have an avocation to keep her mind, body and spirit occupied. She should have the little black dresses, but able comfortably and confidently go to coffee or a live music performance in a t-shirt and jeans. A most important item: the ability to communicate and stave-off unnecessary arguments by listening and talking. A great conversation is one, in which, any particular topic is never finished before taking- She should take the time (or at-least attempt) to construct complete sentences, with whole words. Making a meager attempt at the 'lost art' of writing impresses me. She should show some creative originality. I'm not the typical guy - I'd rather "do something" than "watch" a sporting event on TV. Agree on thirty minutes. If either is not interested, then each have an exit strategy and can leave after the thirty minute mark without hurting anyone's feelings. If the conversation is compelling…that will prolong the meeting naturally.
