I Love love love live music! Rock n Roll, Blues, Folk, R&B I don't care. Now that summer is here, I'll try to hit as many rivers as I can with my canoe or kayaks for some good floating fun and peaceful scenery. I also mountain bike whenever the weather cooperates, which hasn't been very often this year. So, I guess I do like to keep busy and stay on the move. My life doesn't revolve around it, but I love to work out and exercise. (update) I am currently in training for a strongman competition in Oct so I will be doing a little more in the gym and little less in yoga. I've never participated in one before and I'm wicked excited about it! Practicing yoga a couple times a week helps me maintain flexibility, calmness and reduces muscle pains from working out. The simple things, which aren't things at all, move me the most. The drive to be a better person, caring, open minded and considerate of others is what brings peace to me. Yes, I do own a car and house but they are basic necessities for getting through this busy world. However, I am a bit of an internet junky and love catching up on current events. It's a fun job, I work with my family and get to see them regularly. I've worked this job for the last seven years and prior to that I was in the army for 13 years as an Intelligence Analyst. If you're unhappy about your current situation in life, not up for trying something new (even if you think it sucks), complain about your life or the people in it (i.e. exes, co workers, bosses, being broke) or other trivial drama BS, or have low self esteem, then we aren't a match. If you're kind, considerate, compassionate, have drive and motivation for whatever your goals might be, love yourself for who you are and not afraid to explore, we could be a match. I feel whatever we do it should have conversation involved.

For starters, I am a genuine, kind guy who loves helping others. We all know that many guys send out mass messages hoping to "get laid". I have never and will never do that. If I sent you a message it was meant for you and nobody else received anything like it. Lying is one thing that I HATE! I don't lie about anything to anyone and I never will. I was lucky enough to come from a household where not only my parents are still together but both set of grandparents stayed together in marriage. This set a good example of showing me what I am looking for. I hope to ultimately find my other half and best friend to share the finer things in life with. On a lighter note, I am hoping to meet new people and see if we connect. I am known for my sense of humor. People who know me, know I am the one in the group who has always made everyone feel comfortable from all walks of life and make people smile. I have a very playful personality and do not take life too seriously. I also love animals. I have done some volunteer work at a local shelter. Being able to give my time to care for the animals there is something I thoroughly enjoy doing. If more people gave a little more to others and took a little less for themself, who knows where the world would be. Not that I am perfect by any means but I try to be the sorta guy I would want my own future daughter to end up with.....or my gay son to end up with. Whichever ;) A fun night on the town. Possibly dinner, drinks and a lot of laughs. One thing I pride myself in is being able to have fun with people from all walk of life and interests. I am a peoples person, enjoying the company of others and enjoy getting to know others and what their interests are.
