I always thought friendship was important to women. Even as I have offered friendship to women , I have been turned away. Seems like an all or nothing deal. Intimacy or ***'t get me wrong; Sex is cool but in the confines of a monogamous relationship. I am not the stereotypical nice guy either. I am a loyal person, but not someone that can be pushed around. Being an eternal optimist, though certainly not naive, I believe 'going all the way', can be gaining the maximum relationship you have with someone you have a good rapport. Unfortunately, I have met my share of women that have personally attacked me for no reason. I never get this, because I am a genuinely fun,positive person that is happy-go-lucky. Negative people, find another. Bottom-lining this, life really is too short.I do not expect much in a lady, but I expect alot. I expect my other half to be MY BEST FRIEND. Sense of humor is important. I like current events and friendly debate with my lady. I like women that are genuine, down to earth and women that are strong minded. I am attracted to feminine, yet natural women. I want a lady to be 'herself'. In other words be REAL. I do not expect anything from a date. Horror stories get around . I am UNCONDITIONAL. A night out with me ,DOES NOT mean the rest of the night in bed, to put it BLUNTLY! I treat ladies with respect and I expect respect for myself. We are all human beings. I do believe in some chivalry. PROTECTING MY LADY, paying completely without coupons on a first date, holding hands,being romantic etc. AS THE GUY, I MAKE THE INITIAL PHONE CALL. I will NOT compromise on this issue. Some women do not let men be men; they actually want the men to leave their number; Are you kidding me? I think many men compromise basic DATING ETIQUETTE out of desperation. Luckily ladies, I am not that guy! HOWEVER, I have no problem giving my phone number during the first call, though it is most likely on caller ID anyway lmao. I truly appreciate when a lady does small things for me, especially token gestures. I guess that is the sensitive side of me. I am a caring, generous person and greatly admire that virtue in a lady. Relationships should be based on "WE" not "I". Whom I eventually pair, we will be in this thing of life TOGETHER as a TEAM. Unfortunately, I have come across my share of women that were looking for a relationship more of aspects of what they can get of it. I do not mind doing all sorts of things for my lady, but I will catch on if it is onesided. I am a good guy, but not someone that will be the only one making an effort in a relationship. Most of us agree that the small gestures, go a long way in sustaining a relationship; Whether its a business relationship, friendship, or romantic. Lets converse and see what happens !
