I want someone to have fun and joke around together with. Think about it... how many of you girls say, "I want to be with someone who is funny, who makes me laugh, etc.." If it's a one way street like that, the guy will get bored of you and find someone he can laugh with, not someone he has to entertain. :) Having things in common or at least common interests is important. I don't believe being totally different works or the "opposites" thing. Being different in complimentary ways though can be good. Such as one person prefers to do the laundry while the other prefers to keep the kitchen clean. I am generally very affectionate and attentive and like the same in return too, but adjust affection to the situation, company and setting. If you like to sing that's a bonus. I also would like to be with someone that sees sex and love making as a fun or romantic way to be together, not as a manipulation tool, something that needs to be rationed or any kind of issue. Visually, I don't find out of proportion bodies attractive (not into big buts, big boobs, big legs, big stomachs... sorry, not that you can't be a nice person, just not attractive for me).Did I mention I'm Dutch and American? I have dual citizenship and can live both in Europe and the US. How many people do you know that can pull that trick ;) Depends on the season around here, but I like to do something where we can talk at the same time. Miniature golf, a hike, cooking class?

You only live once and I try to remind myself of that so I can make the best of it. I tend to make light of bad situations. People will tell you I work too hard (if only I could get paid too much), although I don't think so. My daughter is a super awesome 12 yr old who plays a large part in my life, even though I just have her part time. I'm close with my family and probably visit my folks once a week to help out (my dad isn't doing so well). I like to work out and keep in shape and it would be nice to meet someone that does the same. I recently made a career change, going from self employed (construction) to working for the government. It's a huge pay cut at first, but better in the long run (I hope) and I have more time now, which I hope to use to travel more. I do have skills, I can build a house from the foundation to a finished product, I can laugh in the face of adversity, and leap over small objects ;-) There's a lot more about me and hopefully you're interested....
