I am an east bay native, grew up in Rockridge and have lived in the area my whole life. This is one of the most rewarding things I've gotten to do; seeing the young students engaged is awesome. I volunteer a lot with my engineering society; I was formerly the president of our local chapter. My philanthropy with this group includes both leadership and advocacy roles. I am driven to make a difference.I am very passionate about these aspects of my life, but I do play hard too :-) When I am not doing the engineering thing, I enjoy indy/garage rock music, craft beer, traveling, and most importantly, parenting and being with my two girls. I love R.E.M.;little broken hearts". I've been fortunate to have met several musicians from some of these bands, they are so cool.
