This is the hardest part for me to do on these. I am looking to date right now, but if it clicks.....I am a long ago divorced, self employed, dependable(but sometimes late), honest, loyal, and have integrity. I run an honest business. Oh I can also be pretty fun. LOLI like to laugh and have a good time. I have a Family Guy sense of humor. I can be silly, or gentleman like. Being Self Employed I am pretty busy so it is hard to make new friends or get out and meet people, but I will make time for someone special. I work all day, but I am still a night owl.I'm not your "typical guy". I call myself "unique". Sometimes I think it is my downfall. I am a little too honest. I like history stuff and how things work or are how they made. I own an electronics repair shop. If you asked me to go hiking, or a bike ride, or rent a boat at a lake, I'm there. I can dig out my old BMX bike. I used to race BMX with my kids and traveled the country racing on the weekends. Even won a couple of National events. I like doing things with my kids. They are in high teens and early twenties.I like to travel to warm beachy places. I like to scuba dive. I am secure with myself. I am going to Cancun next month, by myself, and I know I will have a blast with whoever is there.I'm not afraid to go out and dance, or sit and watch a movie. Dance lessons would be fun, to actually learn how. Ha Not the ole' "white guy dance". I actually have rhythm and shake my hips on beat. lolI sing in a local rock cover band, on the weekends. I like to go to open jams and sit in as well. I am not an ego maniac like most lead singers. I am stuck in the 80's, but can sing most rock n roll quite well,,,so I'm told. ;) Queensryche is a favorite. I play a little guitar too. Being on stage is a perfect excuse to act crazy and rock out, and get paid for it! LOLI like to take my motorcycle out, and it would be great to have a passenger, of course when it gets warm again.I try to take care of myself and eat right and such. I dont get to work out much, due to time, but someone encouraging me might help.My mother has property in the country where we go to ride four wheelers, BBQ, fish, shoot guns(at targets), and just generally relax. I have a nice 5th wheel camper I stay in. Its also my bugout place. I'm pretty versatile and can fit into pretty much any situation. That boring wedding reception, biker bar, or metal concert and bang my head.\m/Well I guess if anything is interesting you can drop a line.If you want to meet, dont just click the "meet me" button. I suspect many of you will see the hairline and pass me by quicker than a GQ photographer. ;o) For those that don't, you'll find I'm not photogenic. My pics were picked out for being recent rather than flattering. Dressing up for me is slacks and a dress shirt, though I'll do the suit or tux if the situation calls for it. Regardless, I have been told my pictures don't do me justice.I'm not a glass half full or empty type of guy. I don't really dwell on it either way. I suppose I tend to concentrate on enjoying what's in it, while figuring out how to refill it as I go (or if it should be refilled!). I'm pretty low drama. I'm human, and things can get to me. It's rare it ever lasts though. Focus on what you can change, and put the rest behind you. Life's too short to get worked up and miserable.I've been told I would make an elephant look impatient. I'm not sure I agree with it, but I will attribute my patience to two teenage daughters and many of their friends! Most of those friends call me dad, and consider me anywhere from funny to hilarious. That said, I do spend too much time with teenagers and not enough with adults, hence my being here! ;o)I tend towards a active and healthy lifestyle. While I do enjoy a nice steak or burger occasionally, you'll have a fight on your hands if you try to get me into a fast food establishment! I'm good at enjoying most everything I do, and can think of dozens of things I used to do or would like to try. Still, the most enjoyable aspect of any activity tends to be enjoying it with another person. I've read a lot of profiles now that claim there are no honest men on this site. I'm telling you, you are wrong! ;o) Honesty is probably the only thing I am close minded on. Please don't up sell yourself or lie to me. I'm one of the most open minded, non judgmental, people you will ever meet. Once I know you have been dishonest, I will always be wondering about everything else you tell me. No comment is perfectly acceptable, but dishonesty is going to insure we never become more than casual friends, if that. ;o)I'm very independent, active, and happy with my life. With work, two teenage girls (shared custody), and a large close knit family, my schedule can be pretty full. Still, I recognize my life would have that much more fulfillment with someone special to share it with (as well as sharing theirs). So here I am, looking to see if online dating can offer me that opportunity!Good luck in your search! Idea being enough privacy to speak freely, yet also enough outside influence to keep any pauses or thoughtful moments from being awkward (as well as providing extra inspiration on topics to discuss).
