I'm Paul and I reside in the heart of God’s Country in the great state of Indiana Originally, I was born on the South Side of Chicago in ***yes, I'm on the verge of geezerism) and lived there until I was seven years of age at which point we, my 2 brothers and younger sister, lost our parents in an accident. From that point until I was 18, my kid brother and I were residents of an orphanage in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. Having completed high school, I enrolled with; and was accepted by Loyola University of Chicago in their School of Psychology. At this time I was juggling going to school full time, working full time. Between the ages of 23 and 36, I held a long string of jobs that ran from the sublime-Director of a shelter for homeless males-to the asi***years in the U. S. Navy on an aircraft carrier. That is not to say that military service is asinine, but rather, my reasons for joining the Navy were ridiculous. I met and married a wonderful woman. My wife and I had to move to Tennessee to help her parents, who were both suffering the onslaughts that come with aging. Shortly after her parents' death, Cindy and I divorced, The onslaughts of ten years of Multiple Sclerosis for Cindy combined with my working 70 hours a week plus acting as her nurse and caregiver drove such a wedge between us that we literally became strangers and I broke the heart of the nicest person I ever met. The best job I ever had was working as a House Parent and then Special Ed. Teacher; having the good fortune to work with a group of Downs Syndrome, Autistic and Cerebral Palsy children. For several years, I worked as an Area Coordinator (Prod. Mgr.) for Tenneco Walker. We made exhaust systems for Toyota, GM, Honda, and Nissan. We worked in a team-oriented environment that is far and away a gigantic leap from the doldrums of a regular assembly line. I then spent ten years working for Federal Mogul which is another auto supplier. I worked there as a department head until now. I had to leave that position so that I could aid my older brother in taking care of his wife who had a stroke. So here I am, with you! Pretty good deal if you ask me!!!
