How hard is it to come here and write about oneself, very IMO. I am a funny, quick witted intelligent man. I will say describing my self as hopeless romantic cuts me short. I am class clown, foodie, tv/film junkie, adventurer and loving all wrapped up into one. I have gone through my storms and am working my way to a new life. I will say this this never in my life did I expect to be divorced but I do not regret my marriage. I have three wonderful children who keep me busy, but I do have my time also. I am more outgoing than reserved. I know how to cook very well, and enjoy doing it. I love going to Falcons games, hanging out in bars listening to music, just as much as sitting on the porch talking around a fire. I am far from the party scene but still try to have fun. My friends would say I dependable, funny, and and very resilient. I have a very good relationship with GOD, though I am far from a religious zealot. If I were a movie character I would be Shrek, hey at least I am honest. You say why Shrek - hard exterior, deeply emotional(he fought a dragon) , raising three kids, and no matter how much donkey talks he never kicks him to the curb. Lastly I have put on a few pounds do to a long battle with an arm injury, that is still going on but would still consider my self athletic. I am board wrestled in college and could hold my own in any sport minus baseball pre-injury. I am hoping and working back into shape, but don't let a few pounds let you possibly miss out on a very good guy. I am looking for a simple, fun loving women, to talk to, hang out with maybe develop something special. Starting to believe that it's true and that women really only do like bad boys!!Well where does time go? I've turned around, i'm 37 and everyone else is settled down with families of their own!so i supppose this is the fun part where i get to describe myself!I would say that i'm a kind, thoughtful and romantic person, who tries not to take myself too seriously. My friends say i do have a good sense of humour, or at least they do if i hand them enough money! I'm a firm believer in Karma and so i do try to live my life by doing right by people and in the whole this is what i've had back.I enjoy most sports though admittedly age has crept up in me and i now realise i probably (never say never) will not be a professional footballer! I did also take up rock climbing which i found gives such an amazing rush but is also very relaxing in a strange way. Unfortunately my climbing partner had to retire, so i'm hoping someone else will step into their shoes. I've also joined the gym as i appreciate the older i'm getting the harder it is to stop the middle age spread from getting out of hand! it won the first round but i'm fighting back against it!, which can be hard work! I enjoy music but never been to that many gigs, i prefer specific songs rather than artists as a whole, thank god for itunes!I do go the to the theatre as often as i can especially to see stand up comedians. what can be better than a night of laughter?Nowadays i work for an IT company which is probably as exciting as it sounds! For about 15 years though i worked in catering which was my passion, unfortunately it pays badly and the hours are horrendous! I have a far better work/life balance now, but one day i would still love to open my own restaurant. For a lot of the time i was in catering i was a fine dining chef, so i can cook which surely has to be a bonus!!I'm very lucky and priviliged to come from an extremely loving and caring family, and i've been blessed with 3 wonderful nieces and 1 awesome nephew. Am i one of the few men who actually likes babysitting?As i say i try not to take myself too seriously, but i am serious in what i'm looking for. I need a better half to care about, to laugh with and to share both the good and bad times together.so to recap, i'm 37, single, never been married and have no children. Applicants to rectify this are gladly received.If you've got this far then really well done for your perserverance. If you haven't fallen asleep please feel free to drop me a line.I'll finish on a joke because if you've got this far you deserve one:Why did the banana go the doctors?Because he wasn't peeling very well!!I'd like to thank my littlest niece for that one! Well she makes me laugh anyway! The most important thing is to be able to get to know each other, so a drink or a coffee. (probably a drink to help the nerves!)
