I've been divorced for well over 4 years. I'm quiet by nature but generally straight forward. I don't require a lot of conversation. I'm more about action(s). Communication and conversation are important but talk is cheap. I am very, very spontaneous at times. I have a regular work schedule and other obligations I've volunteered myself for. My work schedule is ***days a week.I don't feel every minute or days off in my life require absolute planning. It's nice to just "go" once in a while. I like a reasonable variety of activities. Too many to list and too many to continually do them all on any type of regular basis. Some kid related like, roller skating, parks/play grounds. Some things I haven't done in years like canoeing. Other things that some may be more familiar with, bowling, bicycle riding, bonfires. Even just sitting at home.I like a variety of music to a degree. Depends on the music and how it's put together. Worst songs are the ones with great construction but not so great lyrics. Country music is not a favorite. I'm not a sports fan if it's on television. I don't mind going to see an event live once in a while though. My profile says I drink socially. I drink rarely to none.Coffee has been my primary beverage since the age of 14 or so with a reasonable variety of other beverages here and there. I do attend church regularly and have a daughter in my life where every thing I do will affect her long term as well. Children are an absolute major consideration since they rely on parents to set examples and guide them through so much. of course, it doesn't mean they'll listen until it's too late. My youngest is 9. I don't have an ideal "mate" in mind. I don't view any of this as "take out" where everything is MY way. I'm not perfect or going to squeeze myself into some one Else's ideals and don't expect it of any one either. If "standards" and "trust" have replaced "Etiquette" and "Respect" in your views, please don't waste our time. Standards and trust don't exist with out the foundations they are built on. Every thing requires work and it takes 2 people to make that happy medium.Thank you if you've taken the time to read this far. I could construct an essay like I have in the past but this is more reasonable length wise for a brief introduction. I'm not as gruff as it sounds. I'm not perfect or flawless any more than the next person. I'm not used to dating at all any more. Conversation may be a requirement here.

Good grief, finding the right person is much harder then I thought it was going to be when I first joined this place. I thought this would be fairly simple, find a nice looking gal who shares the same interests, who is caring and respectful and is generally happy. As it turns out, it's not quite that easy is it, lol. Looking for that, apparently elusive, "connection" with somebody has proven to be a challenge. I've met some great ladies so far (attractive, great sense of humor, polite, edgy, sophisticated, hard core, bubbly, soft spoken, outlandish and everything in between). I guess I've learned that even if somebody does have many of the same interests as you, there's still a deeper level in which people connect at. It's really hard to explain and I don't even know that I can. I've had fun on my dates (well most of them anyway) as I'm outgoing and can get along with most people very easily. But I want to connect with somebody at a level in which I haven't yet. That isn't too much to ask for. We only get 1 shot at this life and I'm going down swinging if I have to. I know she's out there, somewhere, where the hell are you already.......lol.I'm a good guy. I already know that. I don't need to say something like friends would describe me as so and so. I know myself better then anybody else does. I'm honest and fair. I hate lies and prefer the hard truth every time. I work hard, pay my bills and save for the future. I know how to treat a lady right by being respectful, fun, honest and having her back, but don't expect me to mush all over you ***. Some ladies are really cool about that and some just plain trip when you want to go over to a friends house or something. I think personal space is super important. I'm not going to list a whole slew of interests I have because I really do enjoy almost ANYTHING. It just depends on the person your with. I can rough it out in the wild, I can dress it up for a night on the town. Traveling is great, so is staying at home. You get the point. It's all about balance. If you'd like to know more, just ask. Hello All!!uuummmmmmmm........I like to workout at least 3 times a week, more if I can and I am starting to slowly see results of toning up, slowly but surely after my weight loss. I am not in great shape (yet) but I am doing something about that...I am not where I want to be..but I have goals of where I will be in the next 6 months, 12 months and so on....I am into Kickboxing and love it.I haven't started the MMA fighting portion of the class yet, I need to get into shape first. But I am definitely loving it!!! I have lost 70 pounds in last year and half or so and I feel so much better health wise and in a "little" more confidence, I guess it is tough getting out of that (fat boy) mindset since while growing up I was always trim...I love music, comedy, sarcasm is a must...I am very much that and prefer you are as well, it will work out better that way...I love outdoor stuff..camping fishing, volleyball while BBQing, riding my motorcycle although it would be nice to have someone to put on the back other than my buddy he is starting to get mad at me for asking him to all the time...He says it makes us look like a couple or something...blah blah blah..shut up and sit down already..haha. I act a little stupid at times...like most times...but I do know how to be serious, I just choose not to be.I like to bowl, shoot pool and even go to the batting cages to smack some balls. I like going out but I am just as content staying home watching movies..I Love the ocean and to go wading looking for little treasures. I am not shy, so ask anything. I am forward, and if you make me comfortable and I like u, my comedic side will definitely show through. I have been told I am charismatic and I am pretty off the wall at times with the things I say, and brutally honest, but I have a big heart. I am very outgoing, kinda loud and just love to have a good time, and who doesn't like to laugh..makes you feel good. I love when someone can make me laugh so hard that i have a hard time catching my breathe. I don't really care for drama and know that's life, but I prefer to fly under the radar on that one as often as I can. I am a very easy simple guy and it doesn't take much to entertain me.
