Ironic how time changes people. I know now that I'd like to meet someone again. I'm quite comfortable with myself. I feel it's time to start something new and exciting in my life. I'm a honest and pretty much a straight forward kind of guy and finding someone compatible would be a real bonus. I really enjoy my job and love working hard. It gives me sense of self-being. Like my yard, it's hard work but it looks awesome.Sitting around the house listening and singing to music is kind of a little kick I enjoy. Singing kareoke, or however you spell it, is another one of my favorite things to do.Put me in a kitchen, I'm a happy man. I love to cook and BBQ. Forward but soft. Stand up for them selves but passive.I now believe two people can either connect or not. Understanding and listening is a must. No BS or lies. It's the extreme drama that's not appealing. Honesty is also key. Without honesty, there can be no trust. Just win my heart and you'll see that I'm more trustworthy and loyal than a boy scout. If you want to know something, just ask. I'm done playing the games some of us still feel the need to rely on. Just be honest and open with me. It will save a lot of heartache in the long run.** I found two mistakes in my profile which need changing. First: I'm a taurus not an aries. Second : I'm 52 not 48 as stated. I found out the hard way that after two weeks it's too late for corrections.****Just a lil observation. Where has courtesy, consideration and honesty gone ? As adults we should be able to practice these attributes with ease. Has the ability to communicate been lost ? **The options are many. A simple meet for a drink or even an ice cream cone. Standard dinner and movie are always available. For those of you that think a movie is a bad idea...i disagree. Discussing the movie over dinner afterwards is a great conversation starter. As far as first dates go, something agreeable by both parties after a few phone conversations should start things off well.

I still believe in chivalry and honor, treating a lady like a lady. I would like to say that not ALL men are out to hurt you. It's frustrating meeting beautiful ladies that have been hurt by some primitive knuckle-dragger and they've become so suspicious, a good guy has no chance of getting off the ground. That being said, I don't believe a FIRST date should include a full mani-pedi, or dinner at a high-end restaurant with five relatives all on my tab. I've had both of these scenarios occur before I was kicked to the curb. I'm of English / Italian decent and was raised by great parents that taught my brothers and I to be gentlemen, and to treat a woman with care and respect. The woman in a man's life deserves to be treated like a Queen, God's gift to him. I also like joking around, and I've been told I'm pretty funny (although I'm not quite sure in what context to take that...LOL). Once my nerves settle down on our first date, and I can speak intelligible English again, I think you'll have a few good laughs (~:I like to travel (sometimes spontaneously) from Vegas to Venice, as well as camping, bicycling, or just watching good movies at home. I'm pretty good around the house (or the cars) and line up repairs and/or yard work, definitely not lazy. I'm not into the bar scene or "hanging out with the guys". I tend to be a homebody and I enjoy being close to the one I care about. In fact, I'm fiercely loyal and want to be close to the one I'm with (not clingy though).I LOVE being a father to my two girls, but they're with their mother most of the time (no drama there. My ex is fantastic mother and we get along fine for the sake of my daughter's stable environment). When I do have my girls, I believe in a non-stop whirlwind of fun things to do, including beach days, Disneyland, and pillow fights. I realize how important it is to build their memories of childhood now.I also created, and remain active in a charity that benefits children hospitalized during the holidays.
