As Satchmo said, "There are two kinds of music; the good kind and the bad kind. I play the good kind." Movies: E.T., Close Encounters of the Third Kind (and almost anything Speilberg), Pulp Fiction (and almost anything written and directed by Tarrantino), Planet of the Apes (favorite franchise, minus Burton's dreck), Annie Hall, South Park: Big, Longer and Uncut, The Big Chill, The Dark Knight, Watchmen (all movies should have at least one superhero cameo, regardless of the subject matter), Hitchcock, and of course, Pixar. TV: Seinfeld, Louis, All in the Family, Taxi, Larry Sanders Show, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, Batman: TAS, Family Guy, Transparent. YouTube: TED talks, The Young Turks (everyday), Pomplamoose Steve Martin (in all of his hats), Ricky Gervais, Sarah Silverman, Chris Rock, many others. I read short stories, graphic novels, and non-fiction. Poe, John Irving, Roald Dahl. Sushi and shell-fish. GGG, unconventional not Vanilla.
