About Me

I have 2 kids and a career, so I like to make the most of my spare time Play sand volleyball, but tend to drink more beer than actually play volleyball. Love watching almost any sport, lazy Sundays are the best way to end a weekend. Like to bbq and have bonfires or just relax with a book. Spring and fall are my favorite seasons, love sleeping with the window open and waking up to the birds singing I found out last year that I really enjoy golf, though I am not great by any means. Early morning rides on my Harley are the best way to start the day. As far as dating goes, it sux. Just wish people could present themselves the way they really are when you first meet. Believe me I am far from perfect and don't expect a fairytale.I prefer trucks over sports cars.....muscle cars over sedans......tavern over club....dinner in over out, but don't care to cook much even tho I love to eat!Anything else ya want to know just ask :-)No creeps please......just added ***if you have your kids in your pics on a dating website that is creepy uuuggg Meet for a beer or coffee, nothing extravagant

Woman. 41 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.

Looking for: man. In age: 38-48

This is where I try to be funny, but I'm the only one laughing, and those of you that are, are the true geeks, so welcome! I am 41, and yes these photos are recent- I'm told I look 30, but that being said, I really am 41, and also want to date 40 and above. Okay maybe a REALLY mature 36, but warning: I DO NOT WANT ANY MORE KIDS. I have two lovely men in college and they put me through enough hell that God has granted me a "get out of hell free card", true story.P.A), wine, coffee, FOOD, baking cookies, entertaining, reading, art, dancing, and church. Church? gulp, cough....yes I go once in a while and wouldn't mind sharing that with someone. Please no crazy evangelicals, but Lutheran, Presbyterian, Catholic would be great as long as you are ok with drinking and occasional swearing. (I've got the card remember) Not a deal breaker if you respectfully disagree, but if the mere thought offends you, you might want to bolt at this point. I take fairly good care of my body (see exhibit B) if you do not take care of yours on a similar level, I'm probably not interested. Don't need a sugar daddy, been taking care of myself and two boys for a long time, however I'm not interested in sponsoring struggling musicians (cute as you are). I am a muralist, fine artist, designer, teacher, and I'm going back to school to get my Masters, so I'm a pretty busy cookie, but really would like to meet someone special to grow old with. (nostalgic music playing) I'm not materialistic or very high maintenance, unless you know how to fix bikes. Re-read my age requirements, that goes for grandpa Joe too! I am a teacher so PLEASE use the spell-check feature built into this program (the red dashed underline means you are misspelling a word!!!!!!!) Seriously? On the other hand, if you are witty or a smart ass, please inquire within! The best first date I ever had was a 2 hour hike followed by a shooting range (which I had never done before, and was very uncomfortable with), then beer tasting at a brewery, and then dinner at a 5* restaurant. Though we didn't work out because of our age difference, that still goes down in history as one of the best dates ever....can you beat it?

Looking for: man. In age: 42-52

I have a curiosity of different cultures, going to festivals, meeting interesting people, love art, travel to Europe, the islands or South America, wine tasting, movies, people watching, etcI am cheerful, kindhearted, confident, life long learner, principled, caring and loyal. I believe in building a friendship with a man and looking beyond the exterior. This makes way for a long lasting relationship. no?Never the less tall, dark and handsome is appealing. I appreciate a good communicator and a discerning person. I like a friend that tells me what I am doing wrong and if I have said something disaggreable and visa versa, but can appreciate who is in front of him. This is how one builds a strong relationship. Relationships are exciting, but to be fine tuned along the way. Compromise, common values, common likes and accepting of each other is key. Bla, bla ..I know somethings, but I know nothing. It is not easy.Honesty and moral are important to me. I am a woman of faith and an old fashion lady. I come from a nice family that have been together for 51 years. God bless them. Both educators.Very traditional and lots of fun. Mom is from Spain and father from Colombia.Grandparents Italian.Love a classy romantic gentleman when I see one, but appreciate a hardworking and decisive man, too.Education and someone with direction is also important to me. I am looking for a PROFESSIONAL man with the same level of education as myself, please. Understanding the rules of dating here is a mystery for me. If you want to call and chat please do so. Don't be afraid. If you are not interested be open about it. I am used to mediterranean people that are upfront and are not afraid to express themselves to a women. I am Spanish/Italian. I speak both languages. I have lived here for 8 years. I do like the american sense of cooperation, honesty and giving back to the community. I have worked in Africa with children for a nonprofit organization. I love children. I am playful and can relate to them. Love a man who places importance in family and kids. I have plenty of support with my two awesome little girls and have time to go on romantic dates. In my free time I go to museums, national parks, festivals and the beach or mountains. Sometimes with kids and sometimes with my lovely group of fun girlfriends.I am a romantic. I like to smell, touch, feel and see what is inside the core of the rose.My father is a writer and poet. I feel I am also a creative person and like to write my reflections. I try to be the best person I can and expect the same from others. I like to savor life in its fullest and pay attention to the smaller things. I have a full life with everything I need..lots of fun friends, lovely home, great family, fulfilling job, well balanced person and many dreams. Would love to meet someone delightful that is easy to talk to and enjoys life as much as I do. Each person is unique. How exciting to take a little bit of a risk and take a peek into your world over a nice glass of wine or the aroma of a fine coffee sitting face to face as I hear the resonance of your voice in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I am looking for a "real" person, someone with a good sense of humor, likes to laugh, good listener, great communicator, caring, honest, loyal, employed and above all drug free. I have all of those qualities and much more. I am a mother of 2 children and although don't want any more of my own, am open to someone that has kids as well. I love heading to the trailer in the summer, sharing some drinks on a patio with friends, movies, good food, dancing and so much more. I would love to find someone to share all of those things with me along with many others. I am not looking for someone that plays games, Im way too old for that crap, is looking for one night stands, or is a serial dater, when I find the one, I am loyal to that person and expect the same. I am hoping that someone on here is looking for something along the same lines and chemistry is there, it would be very welcome. Looking forward to chatting and seeing what the next chapter brings, hope you are too. Honestly I think the first meeting should be low key, low pressure. Taking a walk by the lake, having a coffee, something simple to see how the connection is without the timeline of a dinner or movie, besides, I think a movie is a terrible first date..lol. Simple is better I think, who knows, it may just be the best date of our lives!!
